"Lina Peters was recommended to me by the Hanns Eisler School of Music for a jazz evening, and it proved to be a wonderful highlight in our event program at the Pro Seniore retirement residence on Kurfürstendamm. She performed with her colleague Johannes Gehlmann on guitar. Lina Peters, who proved herself an excellent saxophonist, also sensitively held back, allowing everyone the necessary space to fully express themselves. Her musical talent was clearly in her blood, as her father is also a renowned saxophonist. Her joy in the music shone through in every moment of the evening. While the saxophone is traditionally a male-dominated instrument, Lina Peters demonstrated that this stereotype is a thing of the past. "First time to Ireland, Everything was better than expected until I went to Polly Hops and you guys were playing. This took my trip to Ireland over the top. Fantastic music, songs, and entertainment! After being in what I'll call commercial pubs, I was beginning to be disappointed in hearing any traditional Irish music and what my expectations were of being is an Irish pub. That is until I was directed to Polly Hops because you guys were playing. The experience, music and entertainment you provided were the highlight of my visit to Ireland. "We got married on 05/26/2017 💍 Manu found his place at the celebration and cocktail hour discreetly, but with great quality and professionalism, he gave a unique touch to our wedding. We asked him to play songs at specific moments, and it was a complete success, with a lot of sensitivity. He's a shy guy but very nice. We recommend him 100%. All the guests were amazed by this guy. I found him by chance on the internet since we live in Switzerland and the wedding was held in La Manga del Mar Menor (Murcia). "Dave is not only a fabulous Sax player, he is a really lovely person. I wanted a Sax player to play during our wedding reception drinks, which was a couple of hours. We booked Dave, and I'm so glad we did. Communication before the event was very good. He responded to all our questions, and checked in with us a couple of times in the run up to the event. We picked some songs from Dave's extensive repertoire to give him an idea of what we wanted, and asked him to learn a couple of songs for us. He played the songs we asked for, and absolutely nailed the vibe we were going for. On a busy wedding day, I made sure I had time to spend listening, and having a little dance, to his music. It was a real highlight of the day for us, and I would book again in a heartbeat."
