"We wanted a small intimate gathering so we only invited 15 guests. Jose Luis and I are old high school buddies and since he was in town we wanted to come play for me and my wife. I’d be the first time I’d see him play since high school. So he came and set up, talked with some of the guests and we all felt like close friends. He starts off the backing track, Then all of a sudden he starts playing. My gosh the room got full of beautiful music! Not loud but abundantly pleasurable. We and our friends were impressed. He played English & Spanish tunes, old and new. One guest told me’ “He’s so good. Makes me wish I would have picked up an instrument in high school and learned to play!”. Between songs he’d talk to the audience and put everyone at ease. He’d tell us stories about the next tune and they were all #1s! At the end of the night we all had a great time. No one left early. One guest said, “can’t wait to see him again! When is he coming back??”. We’ll we’re working on that! Unforgettable evening!"

"Have just returned from a cruise on Fred Olsen’s Balmoral, Boogie entertained us every evening. He played all the right music for the age of the passengers on the ship. Really enjoyed his performances."

"I was really blown away by this performance! Every cover was so real and full of emotion. You could feel the passion in every note and in every phrase, making classics sound brand new. Piano accompaniment was faultless, adding depth and that je ne sais quoi to make this experience truly elevate. So rarely do you find that someone stays true to the original song and puts such a beautiful spin on it. Bravo "

"Honestly I don't even know where to begin. Chris is phenomenal and nothing is ever too much for him! He made everything more perfect than we could of ever imagined! Since finding Chris 3 years ago, it was always set in stone he would be our DJ and what a decision that was ?? both of us can't thank him enough for the amazing job he did! "We hold 2 weddings a week in our premises and Venus and Mars are fast becoming our go to band for package deals. It’s not just the level of ability it’s their professionalism and flexibility music wise. They played a function of all Irish Music during the afternoon just to help us out after the Irish folk band cancelled and then left to play their evening show 50 miles away afterwards. It’s that level of commitment and going the extra mile that means we have Venus and Mars back time and time again. Book this band you won’t be let down!"

"The perfect group for a perfect day, we chose the acoustic duo for our drinks reception and it was so beautiful and perfect for the occasion, these guys were a pleasure to talk to and couldn’t do enough for us, shortly after the meal and speeches our evening guests started to arrive and the full band were ready to entertain, they allowed us to cherry pick some of our favourite songs as well as our first dance, they really seem to enjoy what they do and encouraged everyone to dance, these guys were great fun and we are so glad they were free on our date, 5 stars guys!"

"We booked this wonderful band for our wedding ceremony and cocktails hour and a half. The music choice suited the venue and our music taste and everyone commented on Pataria amazing soul voice. We would highly recommend this band for any wedding/ special event."
