"Ray and Kay were great. They arrived early and took the time and care to set up to where they weren't too loud or intrusive. I know it can be a delicate and tricky balance for the musicians to estimate whether or not they're overpowering an audience that wants to socialize yet stay present enough to not fade into the background. They clearly have the experience to understand dynamics and are really good at reading a room. It's nice to be accommodating, but also refreshing to see a musical act sense when a night is wrapping up. We event directors want to go home at some point, too! Ray and Kay were tight, professional and friendly. Worth hiring for any event. "

"We just got married on Saturday and had the string duo play. The music was so beautifully played it really helped make the day so so special. Morag was lovely to deal with and even played some Harry Potter and game of thrones theme tune to get a little of our personalities into the ceremony. "Marblehead Johnson are awesome! We were looking for a band to play live at Sarah's 30th birthday party with a 90's Britpop theme, and after an extensive search MHJ stood out as the top contender. They travelled several hundred miles to be at the gig, and rocked the house. Unanimous rave reviews from our guests and Sarah had her best birthday ever. Clear information and friendly comms as well mean that I would book them again in a flash and recommend highly to others! "

"Will very kindly agreed to play at what was a very auspicious and important occasion for me. His attention to planning the evening was first class and he absolutely read the room so well on the evening to play the right tunes, including my own favourites and many unexpected. The reaction from those there was so positive that I have invited him to play at another equally important event later this year. It goes without saying that his playing was exemplary too. He is a hugely talented individual. Thank you."

"Pablo was the guitarist for our wedding ceremony/drinks reception and we could never thank him enough for making our day so special. He is such a talented musician, so professional and just a lovely person! We had good communication with him before our wedding day so we could choose our ceremony songs. All our guests loved listening to him play and we are so thankful we found him - he is a beautiful guitarist and would recommend him to anyone. Thank you so much Pablo!"

"After carrying out extensive internet research for a britpop tribute band we choose to book Marblehead Johnson for our wedding and we genuinely couldn't have picked a better band for the occasion. From start to finish the guys had us all up dancing, singing and reminiscing of the 90's era with an array of awesome, hard hitting and incredibly accurate britpop classics. What a fantastic show they put on for us and if only we had been given a pound for every guest who commented on what a great band we had sourced! In addition to their undeniable musical talents, the way that the they dealt with our enquiries and kept us informed throughout the booking process was first class, something that we really appreciated during the stress of organising a wedding. A massive thank you to Marblehead Johnson - we truly hope to see you guys smashing out the tunes again some day."
