"I’ve never seen any other artist play for three and half solid hours without taking a single break. We love Michael, I can’t even put into words and he’s, we look forward to his visit every year and it’s the only band I stop what I am doing and come out and watch. He could play anywhere and fill any venue and here he is and I always say I am so humble he is here. He could play downtown Calgary somewhere in a venue eight times this size and have it packed full."

"Recently booked Venus and Mars to play at my wedding. The whole booking was easy and quick. Band kept in touch before the date which was a weight off my mind I didn’t have to chase them up for anything. They arrived the night before the wedding and set up and did a sound check in plenty of time. The performance was world class, everyone has been complimenting us on choice of band, specifically we asked for a Pink Floyd song as it was my late father in laws favourite. The guitar player played comfortably numb and there wasn’t a dry eye in the hall. Incredible! Very professional! Great people to be around! Highly recommended!"

"Voices as smooth as molasses, coaxing you into a velvet wingback chair, only to take you by the hand and guide you onto the dance floor as soon as you sit.....This group of women aren’t just a one trick pony though, they continually flex their musical muscles throughout the record. They keep the listener on their toes with different styles, sprinkling in slight rhumba sounds, some flamenco guitar in one song and as previously stated soul throughout. "

I really can’t rate their performance highly enough. The fact that the dance floor was packed all night speaks volumes. They also interacted really well with the guests and were masters of picking songs that would go down well with everyone Sound quality and volume Were you happy with the quality of the sound? How was the volume level? Marks out of 10: 10 Your comments: Their sound setup made you feel like you were at a rock concert, rather than watching a regular wedding band play using amps that sound like tin cans. "Thank you so much for making our evening so brilliant. We had not booked a band this way before and the booking process and advice before the event were very helpful. On the night, the band played 2 sets of great songs. The style of all the songs was fantastic and there was quite a range of genres which we all enjoyed. By the second set, we were all dancing and singing along at the top of our voices with the dance floor packed and bouncing. You definitely made a huge impact and I am sure some of our friends want to book you as a result of seeing you. We are happy to highly recommend The Doubleshots!"

We had a fantastic evening and even the non-dancers were very enthused about your set. Your lead singer has an amazing ability to cross genres and ranges and did so incredibly well. "These beautiful people delivered beyond our expectations. The event was big Company party and the communications before the event were great. The while process of booking through to arrival was perfect. The band arrived immaculately turned out, on time and without any fuss despite the distance and the prevailing fuel shortage problems.
