"We used Fleur and team for the cocktail part of the evening and it was good background entertainment. Fleur has a great tone. I also saw her at a smaller party and she did a good job then."

"Dagmar wow!!!! What a wedding! And the performance from you and the band during the ceremony was truly amazing!! Ramones - Baby I love you, was my favourite, the vibe and pace and sound and your amazing voice was exceptional!! Thank you so much. Everyone commented on how incredible you were. The music was above and beyond during the ceremony and during the apéritivo. So sorry we didn’t get a chance to thank you in person. But it was truly incredible"

"This girl-Just AMAZING! I was celebrating my 50th birthday (private venue) and our original musician canceled at the last minute. I’m so glad we found Styliannie, otherwise, I might never have heard her incredible voice. She’s young, but so professional and talented!! My guests couldn’t stop complimenting her, and honestly, that’s what matters most. She made the evening feel truly special, and I’m so grateful she was there."

"Just to say a huge thank you for the gig on Saturday – which was clearly very well received by the audience. There’s a comment on FB asking if you’ll come back and the customer saying (yesterday afternoon) that she is still smiling! Although I’ve seen you guys a few times, I really thought it worked very well at Ashcroft and it was the best gig I’ve seen. You are all such talented, wonderful musicians individually in your own rights, but the chemistry was fantastic. It felt like we had experienced something very special and unique. The playfulness and sense of enjoyment and fun was contagious. Thank you – and please do pass on my thanks to all the band. I hope the journeys back home were all ok. Many many thanks, Helen Cundy"

We went to a restaurant just off Sixth Avenue and wound up talking from 2:30 pm until 8:00 pm. All those hours we talked about the saxophone, about music, and how this must-cian from Seattle was faring in the Apple. Another time, he called me at 2:00 am insisting that I listen to a new musical idea he had forged for himself. Next morning the telephone receiver was on the floor; I had tallen asleep. Embarras-sed, I mustered what I hoped was a believable apology. I don't think it mattered however. He'd played that night because he couldn't contain the energy, moved to share this wonderful gift of music. His music, this gift, will inspire you. It's at once bold and incisive, spirited and alarming. Booker 1. is daring enough to bring together in his own compositions things that are usually kept separate - jazz and religious music. It makes for a spritely, fun sound. The listener will be moved by the intensity, range and absolute beauty of the entire delivery. But caution: do not trust the titles, expect a surprise.. As music brings the warmth and light of beauty into our lives, this recording will warm our hearts and spirits. Through this light, perhaps we will see a little more of ourselves. Possibly, we will come to understand a bit more of each other. Either way, it is a wonderful gift. Booker 1. is a colossal talent! Gregg Gordon "

"Absolutely terrific. They played 2 sets at my 70th birthday party and laid down the perfect atmosphere. I am a lifelong jazz listener, and these guys are very talented musicians. Frank and I talked in advance about my musical tastes and he delivered straight ahead jazz. Everyone loved it."
