"We got married in France (Loire Valley) in June this year and Mike was amazing. Mike played on the chateau grounds as our guests starting arriving, through to our reception drinks after the ceremony. Mike also played a beautiful rendition of 'la vie en rose' as I walked down the aisle, it was truly perfect. I heard nothing but positive comments from my friends and family. His performance and setlist really did make the wedding day such a perfect day, setting the ambiance just right. The process of booking Mike was so easy with very good and fast communication, nothing was too much bother. Mike is a very friendly and talented person and it was lovely to meet him."

"Ruby sang at our anniversary party in 2016, and she made it an absolutely unforgettable evening. She has a fantastic song list ready, and she is happy to learn new songs for you, - even if I must say that her repertoire matches my own favourite songs, so I would be hard pushed to find any additional to request. Ruby covers all sorts of swing and Jazz from the Andrew Sisters to Amy Winehouse, dance music from cha cha cha to rock ‘n roll plus also Beatles and Bowie and other styles of music. All delivered with Ruby's own touch. Some of them much better than the originals. On top of it all, she made me aware of another brilliant singer, the Dutch Caro Emerald, as Ruby sings a couple of Caro’s songs. To have Ruby singing was, to quote a Caro Emerald song: “I have never dreamed, dreamed a night like this” I would definitely recommend Ruby for any party, birthday, wedding, anniversary or the like."

"Stephen Kleiman was a great addition to our MusicMan Camp Pro Sessions this year! He coordinated with me promptly about how to integrate his session into our camp curriculum -- and was very flexible about performing in a gym rather than our usual auditorium! The campers loved learning about the banjo and mandolin and found it interesting and applicable to their harmonic camp sessions on ukulele and guitar. Excellent performance and patience in working with young musicians! Thank you Stephen! "

"If Dr. John and Tom Waits leave you wanting more, lend your ear to one-of-a-kind Aussie artist Pugsley Buzzard, who assimilates their piano playing, singing and songwriting style into his own blues-jazz musical distillation. On this, his fourth solo CD since 2007’s Hammer These Tongs, Buzzard delivers an all-original set recorded in New Orleans, Melbourne and the Blue Mountains. The Aussie backing musicians are so hip to Buzzard’s swampy Crescent City-influenced grooves that it’s difficult to tell which tracks were recorded where. Complementing the Big Easy contingent of tenor and baritone saxophonist Jimmie Carpenter, trumpeter Antonio Gambrell, trombonist Craig Klein, double bassist Nathan Lambertson, guitarist John Fohl, drummer Charles Brewer and singer Irene Sage, is an equally talented band of top local players. The opening bars of the lead-in blues mambo instrumental ‘Cigarstore Indian’, on which Buzzard’s commanding piano echoes Professor Longhair, James Booker and Allen Toussaint all rolled into one, promises a bourbon-drenched musical trip to follow. Buzzard doesn’t disappoint, his gravelly Joe Cocker-by-way-of-Coco Robicheaux vocals and pulsating piano serving up a solid mix of New Orleans R&B from the Fats Domino styled ‘Dirty Kings’ and the inventive minor-key rave-up ‘Gumbo Boogie’, to the gris-gris-soaked, Night Tripper hoodoo funk of ‘Po’ Boy’, ‘Fire In The Hole’ and ‘Mischief’. The Dixieland flavoured ‘Sin City Lights’ gives way to ‘Salamanca Blues’ a solo instrumental displaying Buzzard’s mastery of stride piano. "The band were the perfect band for our wedding and many guests commented on how great they were! Their choice of music was exactly what we wanted and their interaction with myself and my husband on the day was great, checking that the volume of the music was ok and asking if we were happy with everything. Sarah-Jane was so efficient in organising the band for us and we found the booking process very smooth. We couldn't have been happier with everything."

"We have had Beans and Biscuits at the folk club once a year for the last 3 years and they are a thoroughly great fun band with there own twist on Honkytonk, Country, Hillbilly Americana they always go down well especially the great fiddle player, We shall be booking the band again in 2023."

"I would very much like to thank you all for my amazing party on Saturday night. I was in a daze for most of it so apologies if I didn’t take the time to say thank you to everyone. The band were incredible. We really enjoyed the music. It is so good to hear real instruments and you got all of us up dancing, even me, and my feet still hurt."

"Ruby sang at our garden party on 7 July 2018 and was simply amazing. All the guests loved her and she really made the party atmosphere. We gave her a list of songs which she sang and added to judging the timing of the event and mood of the guests, and we were up dancing. I knew right away after speaking to her on the phone that she was the right person for us. She communicates with professionalism and warmth and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her for any event.
