"Igor was our saxophonist for my wife and my wedding service. He arrived on time (a little early) to set up. The music list he provided was extensive and included all of the hit songs we were hoping for. He set himself up quickly and was very polite and easy to work with. His musical talents were phenomenal. He had my mother-in-law in tears when he played a few of her favourite songs ("fly me to the moon" in particular). He played "1000 years" as the entry song for my partner and helped set the mood for what was a beautiful service. Our experience with Igor was extremely positive and both myself and my wife highly recommend that anyone who wants a live performer for a special occasion consider throwing in a little saxophone provided by Igor, you're likely to fall in love with it!"

"We had the singing waiters at my brothers wedding and it was the centrepiece of the day! The surprise was perfectly executed and their performance was really brilliant. We had a small wedding and they catered for this perfectly, both singers clearly loved what they do and it was just brilliant. Thank you!"

"Professionalism, sincerity, and caring are just a few of the many attributes that Kelsey provided to our wedding preparation and wedding day. Kelsey made planning our wedding ceremony effortless and the service we received was well beyond our expectations. After receiving the run around with numerous other potential officiates, Kelsey called in response to my inquiry on his website within minutes. The fast responses were never ending. Kelsey responded to every phone call and email within minutes, and this is no exaggeration. We could tell instantly that Kelsey wanted nothing more than for us than to have exactly what we wanted. We provided Kelsey with our website, and I provided an email with information about myself and my bride. Kelsey tailored our ceremony perfectly around only a few readings, a poem, and our vows. The additions he made were very nice and meaningful. We traded emails to arrive at what became our ceremony. When it came time for the rehearsal Kelsey really was our saving grace. Kelsey quickly noticed that we had no clue what to do and stepped in as a leader to move the rehearsal in the right direction. The wedding ceremony was flawless, had a great flow, and was executed perfectly by Kelsey. Our appreciation of Kelsey goes very far and we were very lucky to have him be a part of our wedding day. I would highly recommend having Kelsey officiate your wedding, as he makes what can be another added stress to the planning, very effortless. Kelsey, thank you very much for all you did for Kristen and I. We appreciate so much that you put our relationship first and cared so deeply about making our wedding day something that we will remember for the rest of our lives."

"Caricatures by Kathy was a big hit at our sons first birthday party! She did all of our guests within an hour!! Talk about talent this was around 25 people. Loved the drawings and the sweet keepsake we now get to have. One of the guests even texted me that they framed theirs when they got home. Highly recommend if you want a keepsake to remember your special event."

"Couldnt prasie these guys enough! They played our wedding receptions, and it was absolutely perfect. Consummate professionals and excellent players. They brough a touch of hip class to our event, I would hire these guys in a heartbeat, perfect if you are looking for a jazzy/swing reception or event. 10 out of 10"

"I would strongly discourage anyone from using Master Musicians for a wedding. One of the most important moments of our wedding day, the processional, was mishandled despite clear communication and advance planning. Prior to the wedding, I spent over 30 minutes speaking with Julie Block reviewing our ceremony details. During that conversation, we specifically discussed our processional music, including "Can't Help Falling in Love." When I asked whether she already had the sheet music, she told me she did. At no point did she indicate there was any uncertainty about the song selection or that additional information was needed. In addition, all of our songs and ceremony instructions were provided to the company on July 17, 2026, including specific notes regarding instrumental versions. Despite those instructions, our wedding officiant unexpectedly walked in to Taylor Swift vocals being played over the sound system. This was not supposed to happen. The music was intended to be instrumental only. Not only was it inappropriate for that moment, but it caught our officiant completely by surprise and disrupted the beginning of our ceremony. What makes this even more frustrating is the explanation we received afterward. Julie claimed that because we only provided the song and artist name for "Can't Help Falling in Love," she downloaded a version from YouTube and that we should have provided an exact link. Yet this was never mentioned during our lengthy planning call, nor when she confirmed she already had the music. Had this been communicated beforehand, it could have been resolved easily. How can a professional music company utilize YouTube for a full track, when that is meant for video versions of songs? Julie also acknowledged in writing that the violinist played the vocal version of Taylor Swift's "Love Story" instead of the instrumental version and stated that he "second guessed the instructions and chose poorly." In other words, the company admits that its musician ignored the instructions provided. Rather than taking full responsibility for a mistake that affected one of the most meaningful moments of our wedding ceremony, the response focused on shifting blame back to us for not providing an exact track link, despite prior assurances that the music was already available and despite the fact that the wrong Taylor Swift version was admittedly played. They not only declined to offer a refund for these mistakes, but then said they would "waive the charge" for our wedding starting late—even though the delay was due to rain. The violinist never introduced himself or asked whether we wanted him to stay. In fact, had he left, our processional likely would not have been disrupted, because I had already provided the DJ with Spotify track links to our wedding music as a backup in case of an emergency. Weddings require attention to detail, clear communication, and careful execution of agreed-upon instructions. Unfortunately, our experience with Master Musicians fell short in all three areas. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend them to couples who are relying on their vendors to handle important ceremonial moments correctly."

There are all types of humans. Some are positive and happy, some are negative which attracts negative occurrences. Ashley is the latter. The weather was beautiful, and hot, on September 5th, 2026 in Homestead Florida. Ashley’s wedding started an hour late due to electricity being out because of something with FPL. She was already upset that toilets had to be flushed with buckets of water. She is looking for a free wedding all the way around, and approached me with some of her upsets a few days after her wedding asking for the $275 she spent on the violinist. She said if I pay her she will not give a negative review. I do not need to be bought out of a bad review, especially when I do not feel Master Musicians is in the wrong. Her upsets that she expressed to me after her wedding were: 1 - The violinist used the original recording of Taylor Swift for the officiant’s entrance. This is true, this is the only mishap on our end. Ashley wanted vocals for 4 of the 5 songs she wanted for the processionals. Mind you, processionals usually only have one song prior to the bride, or maybe two - not 5. Master Musicians is accommodating and we agreed to make it happen, with Ashley knowing there will be a pause between songs as the violinist fades out, starts the next track, and it begins. https://youtu.be/l3M5IQz6Dns In Ashley’s call to me complaining that “Taylor Swift sang at my wedding! I hate Taylor Swift” is confusing because in the attached video that Ashley provided to me, the only time I see she is happy at her wedding is when she is singing a Taylor Swift song! Ashley said that she wanted it instrumental as it is a special song with the officiant, her friend, and that no one would know the song. I replied “Love Story is an iconic song and guests will certainly recognize it”. https://youtu.be/6T9igm36pmc 2 - Her second complaint was about the Bridal Party’s entrance song “I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing” sung by Sonny Tennet not Aerosmith. The person cueing the bridal court when to walk didn’t pause after the family member to allow for the song change and allowed the bridal party to walk therefore the song had to be changed midway through the walk. This is not the Violinist’s fault. https://youtu.be/r-oMpA-aYHc 3 - Ashley’s entrance. https://youtu.be/D3JC0AdI1-s When going over the final details with Ashley two weeks before her wedding, I asked her “which version of L-O-V-E” she wanted and her snappy reply was “it’s Nat King Cole’s version, its about 2 1/2 minutes”. When we then reviewed about her entrance and she said she wanted Kina Grannis’ version of Can’t Help Falling in Love, I said no problem I’ll get it. She sounded stress during the call and I didn’t want to add to that. True, I found the version on YouTube. It is an easier platform to download the track and share it with our musicians than on a platform like Spotify since I cannot download and share. I did NOT know there are three versions on Spotify which Ashley brought to my attention after the fact. The difference is one version has a longer intro and apparently Ashley wanted moments to herself before she walked down the aisle and felt rushed because when she heard the vocals she wanted to start walking. View video of Ashley’s entrance and you can see there is a 11 second pause as the violinist switches songs and then another 11 seconds of instrumentals before the vocals start. Giving at least 20-25 seconds for her to catch her breath as she claims she wanted. The version that has a longer intro has about a 25 second instrumental before the vocals - meaning the same amount of time passed. To address the claim that professional musicians should not use YouTube, on Electric String Players FB group (where many high end professional violinists share information), a thread from 5 days ago, on 10-29-26, a violinist asked where to get tracks and YOUTUBE was the most common response! See attached photo. As she mentioned, she provided the DJ the Spotify of her ceremonial songs. Wow! Why she wouldn’t share this with me too questions her setting up this situation. 4 - Ashley’s final complaint was that the exit song, Marry You, by Bruno Mars had vocals. They did not. See attached video of exit song. https://youtu.be/LDweVLKtaNY The wedding started a full hour late, but not because of the rain as she writes in her post (go ahead and check out the weather in Homestead on 9/5/26). The violinist had another performance after this wedding and chose to stay and be late for his other gig. If he left, I would be hearing from Ashley about how dare he leave without playing for her processional and would have demanded a refund. For her to say that the musician never introduced himself, well, it is not common for a musician to seek out the couple and say hello before the wedding. The couple is in pictures, they are busy - they don’t want to be bothered by a musician saying “hello”. The violinist ended up being on site for 3 hours. There is a full hour of overtime charges and because Ashley is upset with the vocals being present for the officiant’s entrance, I said we will not charge her for this hour of overtime. Having the vocals for the officiant's entrance does not warrant a full refund, and certainly does not warrant saying that “Master Musicians ruined my wedding”. I told Ashley “Instead of sending a bill for the overtime, I will canceled the charge in lieu of having the vocals for the officiant's entrance. Juan's pre-ceremony performance and accompaniment to the recordings are beautiful, and he deserves to be paid for his time and overtime. Master Musicians has paid him for his service. I wished you well and to cherish the wonderful memories you created on 9/5/26”. To address the rest of Ashley’s post: when a musician plays with the original recording the sheet music does not always match. Master Musicians knows all the songs she requested and being professional we can adjust the key we perform to match the key of the singer. This has nothing to do with her complaint. She did not want the songs with the vocals to be edited, so they weren’t. What she provided in July 2026 was the title and artist. Most couples give us a link of the versions they want when they tell us their songs. Ashley did not, which is not a problem as I can find that song and Artist on YouTube. If she wanted to be so specific, she should have shared that Spotify playlist she gave the DJ. Ashley never made it known that the version she wanted for her entrance is the one with a longer instrumental intro. So again, how would I know this. Master Musicians prepared the recordings and music and gave it to the violinist who executed everything well. He was concerned that the Love Story version I gave him didn’t have the vocals and did play the version with the vocals, not realizing this is not what the bride wanted. He was also supposed to start Love Story about 3 minutes prior to officiant walking, but that was never cued to him either, only when they were about to walk down and he had to start the song immediately. The only complaint that holds water is that the violinist used Taylor Swift’s vocal version of Love Story instead of only an instrumental track for the officiant’s entrance. Master Musicians does not feel this warrants a full refund. In the 25+ years Master Musicians has been providing talent at weddings in South Florida. As owner of Master Musicians, I have never had to go through such lengths to defend our performance as I am doing so in this post. "It Was Magical Extraordinary — all the guests were thrilled! It was one of the highlights of the wedding (according to some, the highlight, but since I’m the groom, I won’t go that far and admit it). Several tables asked him to repeat more than once, with some even insisting a little too much. I personally only got to see about 5–10 minutes (as much as the wedding allowed me), and it seemed truly fun, dynamic, and surprising. On top of that, extra credit because he also performed for our Spanish guests (half of the guests). We are truly very happy with Mr. Gustavo and recommend him to everyone planning a wedding — the value for money is simply unbeatable. Many congratulations, and above all, a big thank you!"

"Having the Manhattan Trio perform at our summer cocktail party was great. The music added a nice atmosphere to the party, with elegant jazz standards everybody recognized. The band even took some requests from guest and performed them beautifully. If you are looking for a sophisticated and elegant jazz music atmosphere, this is it!"

"Charlene played our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Their music was beautiful and made the ceremony so memorable. She even learned a new song that we requested for our aisle song and executed it perfectly! The music during cocktail hour was so popular among our guests, especially the deep house music! We would recommend Charlene anyone! She is the no. 1 violinist & saxophonist for any event."

"My husband and I were at a wedding July 18, 2025 and the DJ Gary Perl's Rock-ON DJ Service and I would NEVER recommend them. They interrupted the officiant, they did follow the schedule that was presented to them. The bridesmaid music for them to walk in was interrupted and the DJ did not announce the process. The bride and father walking in was disrupted as well. When it was time for the toast the DJ's announced everyone go to the bar so we can do a toast which set things back about 30 minutes. The DJ did not follow any of the schedule, they did the anniversary dance and stopped the music at 10 year anniversary without saying anything. The bride and groom dance and the bride with her father dance were stopped before the music was done. The DJ's were very unprofessional in their appearance and persona. Both looked very unkempt, this was a formal black tie wedding. The DJ's were dressed in jeans t shirts and baseball hats. What DJ does not dress appropriately for a black tie affair. The DJ set the scene as if they were doing a casual picnic outside. It was very disappointing for the bride and groom and their families. The mother of the bride did talk to the DJ but he disregarded anything she had to say. Several times they were asked to turn the music down during dinner and they would not. The DJ's treated this event like it was a joke. The brides sister/maid of honor even presented cd's with music to be played for dancing, the DJ refused to play any requests telling the guests no one would dance to that. The DJ's are being paid to create a wonderful experience at the reception and these two did just the opposite. They are not paid to disrespect guests and the families as they did very publicly. Regardless of how long they have been in business or the fact he was a Cleveland DJ back in the 1970's which he kept talking about throughout the reception. They were just the worst DJ's I have ever seen for wedding reception. Read less"
