Review Centre: Singing Groups

"Well last night we was at The Crofton Pub, great venue for some live music loads of space to set up your gear etc and lots of fine ales to sample and boy where they good. Anyway were not here to talk about ales but music! The band playing was called Father Jack, I believe to be in relation with Father Ted the program. The music was fantastic, it was Celtic and very lively, they had, guitar, drums and violin/Banjo/12 string ukelele. As we said the music was lively and very entertaining, in between them singing they would play some instrumental numbers. The instrumental numbers where great as they would get faster and faster and get the crowd going. The crowd where thoroughly enjoying themselves. When we got to our table one of the guys was handing out I guess karaoke handouts, these had the chorus to the some of the songs they where singing, I’ve never seen this before but it has to be a brilliant idea, as the evening went on and the beer was flowing, more and more people joined in with singing in the chorus of the songs. It would seem everyone had a great evening with Father Jack, I would definitely recommend them and if you see them advertised go a long and have a sing-a-long with them, you wont regret it!"

They really are Ministers who happen to sing and not singers who try to minister! They are humble and very accomodating to the needs of the church. I highly recomend them!"

"It was so wonderful to hear you rehearsing as we entered the church before the service started as I know my mother would have felt so honoured to have your beautiful voices surround her as she awaited her final goodbye. As a family, we felt your voices lifted us and carried us through a very difficult service; all the hymns and songs were chosen by our mother and your performances were beautiful tributes to her. "

"Wow! We can’t thank the choir enough. They kick started our wedding with 3 tailor made sets before and after our ceremony. Every one of our guests was completely blown away by them. The song choices, the individual voices, and the whole vibe was incredible and set the tone perfectly for the rest of the day. Would highly recommend this incredibly talented bunch of musicians! "These 4 beautiful ladies are an exceptional talent. They surely out did themselves at our wedding reception, performing some of our favorite songs by some of our favorite. They literally had something for everyone in their set, even the young ones were having a blast. Truly amazing, I would definitely hire them again."

"Without a word from start to finish, this Russian gypsy trio - two fiddles, one guitar. three wonderfully stirring vices - delivered a performance of such dazzling virtuosity as to force a second encore despite running well over time. For the first couple of numbers, perhaps, they seemed to be trying that bit too hard, the virtuosity rather over-riding the music, but once they loosened up that crucial degree you could virtually hear the sound of jaws dropping throughout the auditorium. "

"VWGC made our church ceremony magical! Everybody commented how happy they looked and how wonderful they were. I sang and smiled the whole way through the ceremony thanks to them. "Hiring Collectives Gospel Choir for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! We first saw them at a wedding fair and were blown away, we emailed for a quote thinking there was no way they would be within our budget but we couldn't believe how reasonable they are and instantly booked. From start to finish Laura was super helpful and responsive with emails, nothing was asking too much and they were happy to do anything we asked, she made the whole process really easy and stress free. On the day our guests were so shocked (in a good way!) when they walked into the venue to them performing. We had comments all day about them and are still getting people now texting us about how amazing they were. People were literally gasping at some of their vocals and people were in tears. The whole choir were also super friendly and smiley, I was petrified stood at the bottom of the aisle but each time I glanced over at them I was given the biggest smile and it really put me at ease. If anybody's ever debating to book please take my word for it that they will be, by far, the best decision you make."

"From the moment we saw the choir at the open day at our wedding venue, The Oakwood at Ryther, we got goosebumps; we knew we had to book them for our wedding straight away! And they truly did not disappoint! All of our guests, even the photographer and the registrar, commented on how amazing the choir were. The booking process was easy and any questions we had, there was no hesitation in answering. Can honestly say these guys made our day! Thankyou!"

"We hired Johnny for our fiftieth anniversary pasty. He was fantastic!! He is great, as both a singer and as a DJ. All of my guests commented on how much they enjoyed him. One old friend said it was better than any of the weddings they have been to because of the music. He was also great with my young grandchildren. I can't say enough about how great he was. If we have any more parties, booking him would be our first priority."

"Vocal Works Gospel Choir sang our ceremony music at our wedding and were truly incredible. They went above and beyond our expectations and we are still getting comments about how good they were.
