"Tom was nothing short of excellent at our wedding! We had him booked for 3 hours and he played during our ceremony and reception. The blend of acoustic and vocals were superb and it absolutely made the whole afternoon perfect. We had so much good feedback from all our guests over how great he was!"

"Denis Cook is the perfect pub and bar-room entertainer: genial, charming and chatty with a charismatic personality, so it's not surprising that the sumptuous Haven Wine Bar & Restaurant in Whetstone booked Denis for several gigs, since he's the ideal 'mine host' for this exclusive venue, encouraging the guests to join in and have a fun time. With many strings to his bow, in addition to singing Denis plays guitar, mandolin, ukulele, harmonica and kazoo, but his greatest claim to fame is that he taught his nephew Norman Cook, alias Fatboy Slim, to DJ! (Denis has been 'spinning discs' since 1969 and the young Norman was soon hooked on music too!) Though perhaps not the greatest instrumentalist to perform on stage, Denis more than makes up for this with his highly tuneful singing voice, careful selection of material and infectious personality. Skill and experience gained through years of DJing shines through in Denis's easy command of banter between numbers, putting many other pub acts to shame, and his sheer dedication to entertaining others certainly evidenced in this three-hour gig undertaken with hardly a break. Starting with the Eagles' country ditty "Peaceful Easy Feeling" and a stripped-down version of the Foundations' "Baby Now That I've Found You" guests knew they were in for something special, loving the laid-back, peaceful easy listening style and the fact that the music was at a very reasonable volume: no blasting speakers here! Then, after just three songs, self-accompanied by guitar, Denis popped out his mandolin for a very enjoyable rendition of the Kinks' "Tired Of Waiting For You" and Steve Earle's Irish classic "Galway Girl" before switching to the ukulele for a charming interpretation of McFly's wistful "Love Is Easy" but, in addition, you'll find plenty of variety in Denis's act, ranging from party numbers like the Mavericks' "Dance The Night Away" and Roxy Music's "Let's Stick Together" to country classics such as Glen Campbell's "Rhinestone Cowboy" and John Denver's "Take Me Home Country Roads" to up-to-date material like George Ezra's catchy "Budapest" as well as some good old rock 'n roll. And - how many performers would be brave enough to attempt Rupert Holmes' excellent "Escape" (The Pina Colada Song); the late Ronnie Lane's rocking "Ooh La La" or Billy Ray Cyrus' witty comedy number "Where Am I Gonna Live?!" Mr Cook will be returning to the Haven soon and my advice is that you might want to reserve a table, since the place is likely to be well be packed in anticipation of this great entertainer. "We loved Mike! He was so easy to work with and our guests loved him! His music made such an impact to the overall atmosphere of the ceremony and cocktail hour. I loved that he learned a new song for our recessional. He is an amazing musician with an amazing voice that is the perfect finishing touch to your amazing day!"

"I have booked Dave for a couple of events that I have hosted. He has an amazing voice and such a fabulous collection of songs that he can sing. He has always lived up our parties. I can’t recommend him enough. Very helpful will send out a full list of tracks and will take requests too! I would have no hesitation in booking him for any future event I was hosting.…….. "

From gentle acoustic tunes, which gave intimate lounge bar vibes, to old school bollywood tunes that got everyone on the dance floor — he transported us from Berkshire straight to Bombay. "Talented Musician & Great Entertainer I have hired Gary Prisby to play at multiple events ranging from holiday parties to scholarship award ceremonies and charity fundraising events. He is truly a very talented musician that always leaves the guests incredibly happy. He is one of the few that I have hired for multiple events because of the feedback I always receive from the guests. He’s done a great job at adapting to the crowd and the event. I will continue using him for personal and work events."

"We recently used Guty e Simone as the band for our wedding. I cannot recommend them highly enough! Before the wedding they were prompt with emails and also helped out with music choices, they also learn a song that has mean to you and play that at the wedding. During the day they let us use their equipment for background music, speeches etc, then for the wedding party They play a fantastic set that gets everyone dancing and also music from a playlist. The whole of our wedding party was dancing and having fa great time and all said how fantastic the band was. They are extremely reasonably priced, friendly, approachable, talented guys. If you are wanting a band to play at your wedding I would 100% recommend Guty e Simone. The memories we have of our wedding will remain with us for a lifetime and that includes Guty e Simone"
