" Mark and Phil have played twice at my garden party. They have delighted guests of all ages. They are not only very talented musicians but are lovely people who draw the audience in. No-one wanted them to finish! I cannot recommend them highly enough - accomplished, professional, punctual and charming!"

"A great big thank you to The Downtowners for providing the best live music for our reception. They played all our requests and had the dance floor jumping! We loved the jazz trio at the beginning of the evening setting the mood for the rest of the night. I highly recommend The Downtowners for any function to get the party started and to keep it going!"

"Lorraine and the Flames are hands down one of the best groups I've heard in a long time. We were hosting an outdoor Jazz and BBQ evening and the guys couldn't have been more amazing! Having done 25 years in TV news I know a star when I see one. There is an expression for on air talent who completely control the viewer’s attention—-‘she eats the camera’. She is that talent. "We stopped by to see Miss Pearl do her Paloma Faith tribute act at the Milbourne Arms in Carlisle, last night. Miss Pearl was on point, singing all of Paloma's hits and some of her less known songs. She has an excellent voice and also did some of her vintage songs aswell. It was a thoroughly enjoyable night and we even had a dance. We will hopefully see Miss Pearl again soon, as we want to book her for an up-and-coming private party."

"Annelise was perfect in every way. Prompt, communicative and responsive. Everyone at the party loved her and commented on her style. This was important to us as we were catering for all ages and tastes. She sang beautifully. I would definitely recommend and book again. Just wonderful."

"From the first moment an extremely pleasant contact with Kars. We discussed our wishes, thought along very well and ultimately had a great afternoon/evening that young and old enjoyed. But with such professional and sympathetic musicians it could hardly be otherwise. This jazz trio made the evening a real party, which we remember with great pleasure. The entire American Songbook was reviewed and this led to fun interactions with our guests. Party coming up? Book immediately, because a top musical evening is guaranteed."
