"Central Avenue Band were amazing, and really helped make our wedding truly special. From the moment they started playing, the night came alive with brilliant renditions of classic songs that created the atmosphere to get everyone moving and having tons of fun. Guests also had tons of compliments for the band and the DJ and epic sax guy who kept everyone on the dance floor moving well into the night. Thanks again for a wonderful performance"

"The Moonlighters were amazing!!!! All the guests got on the dance floor and never left - the kids, the grandparents, everyone was dancing! The venue staff were even dancing on the sidelines and raving about how great the band was and how to book them in the future! absolutely wonderful!"

"Words cannot describe how amazing Bernadette, Steve, Jake and Cassie of Bassline Studios are. We reached out to them to be our band for our wedding reception and the MC as well as play for our ceremony. The vibe they set for our wedding was next level. When I came to Bernadette with a list of songs I wanted - from Metallica and Silverchair to Prince. They nailed it They made our wedding the most fun and memorable experience for not only us - but all our guests! And they played me Purple Rain - BEST. BAND. EVER!"

"A positive review? But no, they are much more! A super close-knit group (I would listen to them live whenever I had the chance), maximum musical professionalism, they opened the cherry festival after a two-year stop with a fabulous 70/80/90 sound and thanks to their sympathy and availability. Simply superior, for all those who want to stand out in the best Overfunk Band."

"Have you ever wondered what makes a great party? We learned quickly that it is Private Affairs. We hired this band for an upscale 70th Birthday Party, and without them, this event would have been just another party. The theme was the 70s, and not only did all the band members embrace it by dressing in 70s garb, but they also embraced the spirit of the party and created the most fun and engaging atmosphere. They are consummate professionals and wonderful human beings. Their interaction with the party-goers helped make this event fun and memorable for everyone. All evening long, our guests came up to us and said things like, "What a band", and "Who are these great musicians"? If you want to elevate your event and are looking for FUN, do not hesitate to engage Private Affairs."

From the elegant live music during dinner to the incredible party set later in the evening, everything was perfectly balanced. They read the crowd, kept the dance floor full, and created such a joyful atmosphere. Many of our guests asked us where we found this band. Highly professional and truly unforgettable."

"Kate sang for our recent downsized wedding. We had initially booked her to provide background music for the drinks reception but when we downsized due to covid restrictions we asked if she could perform at the evening reception as well. She was incredible and brought all the energy of a full band, we just wish we could've done more than groove in our chairs for her! Kate's voice is just something else. I cannot begin to thank Kate enough for her communication with us throughout this uncertain time - it was phenomenal. She was professional and reassuring, reaching out after each government curveball and setting our mind at ease. We wholeheartedly recommend Kate not only for her incredible voice but for her warmth and professionalism. "
