"The Crotchet Club provided a professional and stylish performance for our annual resident’s garden party. The booking process was easy, and the band were super friendly and made sure that the evening was enjoyed by all! I would definitely recommend them for any future events and parties."

"Jan-Jaap Bats The Netherlands Mar 15, 2024 3:00 AM The only godpelmusic who was allowed by my father to be eplayed out loud in our living room, were some quiet songs of Petra and Jon Gibson. While sitting at his sickbed two weeks ago, I played Father Father, Friend that lives in you and some other songs. Wednesday he passed away. Thank you Jon, for being the writer (with the holy ghost) of some of the most beautiful gospelmusic ever. Traveling with me trough life. "There are mountains I must climb...."

"Rev Ferriday's musical past dates back to the late 1980s, with Indie rock band Loop but it was only in 2012 when his first solo album appeared. The follow-up is all set to be released on 21 October.With bluesy harmonica well to the fore, deep vocals and general grungy feel, Nine Beats presents nine slices of down 'n' dirty blues, described in the publicity blurb as inhabiting a place ''somewhere between Johnny Cash and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.'' On close inspection, I'd say the description is not a million miles from the truth. The sound reminds me of other artists too, such as Ian Siegal (especially from his Revelator era).Mostly, the pace is uptempo, with a rock feel, but there is room for the occasional step into the world of more traditional blues, such as10/6.Catchy riffs abound; it's all toe-tappingly good stuff with simple enough arrangements that were presumably designed to be played live.Stand out tracks: Moonshine, Nine Beats."

"For our after-party, we wanted a jazzy casino party and so we looked at a couple of jazz bands to help us create the vibe we were looking for. Train Jazz Band has an amazing repertoire (all the good classics!) and the samples on their website show how great performers they are. On the wedding day, they were absolutely spectacular. The samples online, as great as they are, don't do justice to their live performance. We and our guests had such a good time. Our wedding after-party wouldn't have been the same without them! We highly recommend their services!"

"We hired On The Rocks for our wedding reception in Hathersage, and we really enjoyed your contribution to the night! Your music was definitely a highlight of the day, and we only wished we’d been able to spend more of the night sitting and listening to you. We especially enjoyed your rendition of Menina Moca, which is one of our favourites. So thanks for that – it was much appreciated! We also received a lot of feedback from our guests on how much they enjoyed the music."
