"The Crotchet Club played at a party for me at the weekend and they were absolutely fabulous. A bunch of great guys who really know how to play Jazz. We had 250 guests and they managed to entertain for the whole of the drinks reception and again after lunch. They are a wonderful band, don’t book anyone else for your event."

"The band members, very respectful and responsible, arrived on time and were very professional at all times. But honestly, we felt very disappointed that when contacting this band, we were specific about confirming if they played certain songs, certain artists, including rock and roll songs, which was the main concept of the party including decoration, etc. A party obviously centered on the birthday person for their 80th birthday, and the band played a selection of music that wasn’t what we requested. So, sorry for the honesty, but in that sense, we were very very disappointed. The idea was to hear the birthday person’s favorite songs, and that didn’t happen. That was the main reason we decided to invest in a band instead of going to a nightclub to listen to random music."

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and we appreciate your kind words about our professionalism and punctuality.  However, we'd like to respectfully address the concerns raised, as we believe there may have been a misunderstanding about what was agreed upon. Before the booking was confirmed, we provided our complete repertoire of 170 songs so you could review exactly what we perform. When you sent through your song requests, we responded clearly in writing that we could perform around 90% of the songs listed, specifically noting which artists and songs we don't cover, including Roy Orbison, Tony Bennett, and "Piña Colada." The contract was signed after this exchange, confirming mutual understanding of the agreed-upon repertoire. On the day, we delivered exactly what was agreed: approximately 90% of your requested songs, plus additional requests from guests. Guests were dancing and singing along to our performance. Furthermore, the birthday guest himself told us during the event that he was thoroughly enjoying the music, which we also took as a positive sign that we were meeting expectations. We always strive to be flexible and responsive on the day. When asked mid-performance to stop for unplanned moments like the raffle and cake cutting, we simply requested to finish the current song to avoid an abrupt interruption, a standard practice that maintains the flow and professionalism of live music. We regret that the experience didn't meet your expectations despite our clear pre-event communication. If there are specific songs or aspects you'd like to discuss further, we'd welcome the opportunity to clarify offline. We wish your guest all the best for his 80th year. Kind regards, Greg

"Professional, engaging entertainment during our event We engaged Jazz Centrale to provide entertainment for the celebration of our anniversary. From the very start, communication was pleasant, and our wishes were carefully listened to. Our event was business-oriented and also intended for networking. The musicians from Jazz Centrale looked impeccable and played beautiful background music. This interaction was, once again, very enjoyable. It provided a delightful experience for our guests, whether to discuss it or simply enjoy it. Definitely recommended! We chose a saxophonist, double bassist, and pianist. The event was attended by 150 people."

"Jan-Jaap Bats The Netherlands Mar 15, 2024 3:00 AM The only godpelmusic who was allowed by my father to be eplayed out loud in our living room, were some quiet songs of Petra and Jon Gibson. While sitting at his sickbed two weeks ago, I played Father Father, Friend that lives in you and some other songs. Wednesday he passed away. Thank you Jon, for being the writer (with the holy ghost) of some of the most beautiful gospelmusic ever. Traveling with me trough life. "There are mountains I must climb...."

"So happy that I got to experience the perfect duo, they attended my fundraiser for willowbrook hospice. Everyone commented on how well suited they were and that the music was beautiful. So nice to have a duo that you can hear and enjoy. Highly recommend them and hope to use them for future parties etc."
