"After seeing Yve on YouTube for the first time singing that song ' Hurt ' I have since been transfixed by that beautiful voice of hers. She can sing a song and put it across to the audience with such passion and emotion , that it can leave not a dry eye in the house . Well, when I her sing live for the first time, firstly on her own and then with the Morganway , Yve didn't fail to deliver ! I was again Mesmerised by her beautiful voice and haunting melodies. One of the songs that Yve covers is Bob Dylan's , ' Buckets of Rain ' and some of the lyrics goes '... you do what you must do and ya do it well ' Yve does that in abundance ! "So I get an email about a year ago asking if I would be interested in booking a rather large in numbers (Count them 7) band called One Eyed Cats so I clicked the website link they included and was soon intrigued by these guys who promised not only a night of great music but lots of surprises too so I had to see if they lived up to their promises. Now our stage is not the biggest in the world and when I saw the guys you could tell they had played in all sizes of venues so somehow using some clever logistics they managed to get set up and sound checked very quickly and professionally. Kicking the night off with one kick up of the ass version of Fats Domino's Blue Berry Hill" there was a great feeling in the room that we were in for a great night. These guys play so tight there is no egos when their playing they work as a team and better still a team of obviously great mates . From the boogey Woogie Keyboard skills to the rousing brass section they kept hits coming old standards like Great Balls of Fire to Paul Weller Numbers and a few lesser ones were tested out but as one member of the audience said to me "I don't know this song but they are playing it brilliantly" These guys are definitely ones to catch and we hope to catch them playing at the Hightown very soon"

"I recognise immediately that these serious musicians are challenging the listener and themselves to play outside the box.(...) Music Soup is a good name for this trio of musicians because they embrace a mixed bag of styles and musical concepts that mirror their decade of playing together and their individual personalities... ... Because they have been working together for ten years, Music Soup has a tight, cohesive sound. Their music is well written and produced. On “Your Song” horns join the group. Special guests Dimitris Papadopoulos on trumpet, Dimitri Vassilakis on tenor sax and Antonis Andreou on trombone fatten the sound. However these horns, (nicely arranged by Haris Ziouva) are merely icing on the creative cake that Karlafti and Dimopoulos have baked. Nestor’s bluesy guitar and Evgenia Karlafti’s organ mastery are the fireworks of this production. "

"This band brings high energy, and awesome attitude and fan interaction that I have not seen in a long time. The guys are so easy to approach and their song selection is very diverse. They play rock, alternative, modern country, pop rock, have some original music and even so a new wave song and top 40 song in there. Check out Champions Gate! They are well worth the book"
