".....We have had some really great Tribute Bands over the season here in Australia, thank you for that. INXS and ACDC have been excellent, but still, for some reason the best bands have still been the Australian Beatles Group. They just smash it for everyone, regardless of age every time. "Rev Ferriday's musical past dates back to the late 1980s, with Indie rock band Loop but it was only in 2012 when his first solo album appeared. The follow-up is all set to be released on 21 October.With bluesy harmonica well to the fore, deep vocals and general grungy feel, Nine Beats presents nine slices of down 'n' dirty blues, described in the publicity blurb as inhabiting a place ''somewhere between Johnny Cash and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.'' On close inspection, I'd say the description is not a million miles from the truth. The sound reminds me of other artists too, such as Ian Siegal (especially from his Revelator era).Mostly, the pace is uptempo, with a rock feel, but there is room for the occasional step into the world of more traditional blues, such as10/6.Catchy riffs abound; it's all toe-tappingly good stuff with simple enough arrangements that were presumably designed to be played live.Stand out tracks: Moonshine, Nine Beats."

"I saw the band 3 years ago in Lefkada where I was for honeymoon with my wife ,in a very special bar called Tree bar. I can tell you,we were dancing straight for 3 hours. We stopped when the band has to stop and when the moon was high in the night sky. High recommend band for parties!! "

What a great group of musicians you sent—we received compliments from all sides. Not only was the music excellent, but the way they approached it was perfect: they arrived, found a good spot, set up quietly without anyone really noticing, and then started playing beautifully. "Saw them at the Woodman’s in Gorfeild, absolutely fantastic. The front of house sound was great balanced clear and crisp, the mic’d bass drum cut through really well but never overpowered. The bass player had some static buzz which bothered him but could not be heard when they played, the venue was not overcrowded, while this would have been disappointing for the band it allowed me to see and hear them & that suited me fine. Played a wide range of blues from all its sub genres just think BB King to ZZ Top so something for everyone even those that don’t know they like the blues. The lead guitar was very good and his bottleneck side was outstanding the vocal styles of the bass player and the guitarist are very different but work well together and give a variety that is often missing. The beauty of live performance is the nuance of venue acoustics and atmosphere which makes every performance different (keeps it interesting for the band) a couple of the numbers may need a little more work on the vocals but when they got it right as they did most of the time it was like listening to a studio recording with all of the backroom mixing and editing in place. I look forward to seeing them again and can highly recommend."

Thankyou for the good review Sparky! As it happens we were approached at our gig last night in Holbeach November 2nd 2025 who also attended the same gig at Gorefield and she is one of quite a few followers we have in that area!

We provided him with a large set list with multiple styles of music, and he was able to execute each song as we discussed with the corresponding background music. "Warmly recommended This is the second time I’ve organized a company party with live music from Jazz Centrale. The first time it was a jazz quartet with Bossa Nova singer Agnes, and this time a jazz quartet with jazz singer SaraLee. Both were equally great. Warmly recommended not only for the quality of the music but also for the smoothness of the organization. "

The booking process was so easy – they were communicative and helpful throughout, in the run up to the event they were on the ball with information and on the day they were just fantastic. Their sets were perfect to set the tone for our wedding reception – as we were told by all of our guests repeatedly on the day and since!"

"Αυτή η μπάντα ήταν η καλύτερη επιλογή για τον γάμο μας! Από την πρώτη στιγμή, το κέφι και η ενέργεια που έφεραν στην εκδήλωση ήταν απίστευτα. Έπαιξαν υπέροχα παραδοσιακά κομμάτια, αλλά και σύγχρονα τραγούδια από καλλιτέχνες όπως ο Βέρτης, ο Καράς, ο Παντελίδης και η Βίσση, και όλος ο κόσμος δεν σταμάτησε να χορεύει στην πίστα! Η ενέργεια τους ήταν ατελείωτη και το κλίμα μοναδικό. Αν ψάχνετε για μια μπάντα που να συνδυάζει παραδοσιακή και σύγχρονη μουσική με φοβερή ενέργεια, είναι η ιδανική επιλογή!"
