Review Centre: Blues Bands

"Wirklich vom Feinsten! Wir haben Tcha Simmons für eine private Feier gebucht. Die Buchung war unkompliziert, Tcha hat uns gut beraten und uns geholfen den Ramen abzustecken (Anzahl Musiker, Musikalischer Stil, etc). Der Auftritt dann war grossartig! Unsere Gäste - von denen einige Profimusiker waren - waren begeistert! Die charismatische Stimme von Tcha, das bluesig-jazzige Repertoire von Jazz-Standards über Songs von Stevie Wonder bis hin zu the Doors und Eigenkompositionen war spannend und einfach hinreissend. Auch die durch den italienischen Keyboarder eingestreuten italienischen Balladen (Lucio Dalla, Zuchero, etc.) haben sehr gut gepasst und für noch mehr Abwechslung gesorgt. Auch wurden spontan gewünschte Songs gespielt, wo man die Klasse der Musiker erlebt hat. Die Freude am Musizierenn war spürbar und ansteckend. Die Moderation war passend zum gewünschten Rahmen und menschlich war es sehr angenehm im Kontakt mit den Musikern. Ich bin absolut begeistert und kann Tcha vollumfänglich weiterempfehlen. "Dawn Kelly & Neil Bailey are Magpie 22 and they released their single 'Cowboys and Indians’ on February 14th (iTunes, Amazon, Spotify etc). The song starts off quite atmospherically and then keeps this theme with a great story line so the lyrics are very important in this song and need to be listened to. Dawn’s voice is very strong and the music too is excellent making for a very expressive, enjoyable and memorable song and one that will no doubt evoke a few emotions. "We were indeed very fortunate to be introduced to Girl Friday ensemble whilst on a 2hour sunset cruise of Maloolaba canals. Girl Friday did not stop. From Classic jazz numbers to crooners and everything in betweent they had it all covered. A huge Thankyou for bringing something back of which we have been missing. Fabulous entertainment with songs and music we can relate to and all sung to perfection. Thankyou. I will be following you in your Socials now hoping to catch you on future gigs. Cheers M "

"Je viens d'écouter ton enregistrement, bravo à toi et aux autres musiciens! C'est très agréable à écouter et pas si sombre que ça, comparé à Almost blue de Chet Baker, une des rares musiques que je connaisse vraiment de lui avec My funny Valentine. Cela m'a surtout fait replonger dans l'ambiance d'un très bon film noir de Louis Malle de la fin des années 50 à Paris " Ascenseur pour l'échaffaud", la BO est de Miles Davis"

"We had a Fantastic time, everyone has raved about the All Star Showstoppers, they had everyone up dancing and signing along. It was a fun night. I also want to thank Bryce the sound tech he was great, very helpful and easy going.
