"Will very kindly agreed to play at what was a very auspicious and important occasion for me. His attention to planning the evening was first class and he absolutely read the room so well on the evening to play the right tunes, including my own favourites and many unexpected. The reaction from those there was so positive that I have invited him to play at another equally important event later this year. It goes without saying that his playing was exemplary too. He is a hugely talented individual. Thank you."

"Stephen was patient with me as I was planning a memorial service for my father. I changed my mind a couple of times and Stephen just rolled with the changes. He met my wife for a rehearsal session and then nailed the performance during the ceremony. Stephen also provided some lovely and background and mood music prior to the service and jumped-in with musical accompaniment during the congregational hymns."

"There’s a local connection to this marvellous presentation of Andalusian culture. Daniel Martinez studied flamenco guitar from the age of seven in his native Cordoba and played in the city’s tablaos before moving to the UK in 2015 and establishing his guitar school in Edinburgh. His flamenco troupe has two Scottish guitarists and one of this production’s pieces expresses the happiness Martinez has found in Scotland but the music and movement are undiluted Andalusia. The venue even obliged with Andalusian temperatures, making dancer Gabriela Pouso’s intense and astonishingly precise footwork all the more admirable. There’s music in Pouso’s feet and her close coordination with Martinez’ brilliantly nimble and massively colourful musicianship would have been worth the ticket price alone. That, though, would have robbed us of the fantastically expressive singing and the violinist's superb articulation with his bow. The concert began quietly, with Martinez playing alone, soulfully evoking a calm before the storm. And what a storm: three guitars in intricate partnership, violin and voices soaring as the singers added typically urgent and musical hand clapping and Pouso embodying the music’s vibrant physical presence. Bravo indeed."

"We’re so glad we chose Bijou Trio for our wedding! They brought such a beautiful energy to the day and were incredibly easy to work with from start to finish. The music was absolutely top-tier - very clean and elegant and absolutely charming and professional. Everything surrounding their performance was seamless: clear communication, perfect timing, and a truly polished experience. We loved having them and couldn’t recommend the trio more highly for any special occasion!"

"Wonderful, professional musicians, who set exactly the right tone for our Afternoon AGM. They played non-stop before and after, even doing requests, so I would recommend this flexible musical troupe (we initially asked for a duo, then they accommodated our request to provide a trio) to anyone who wants to have an upbeat, varied programme of music, played beautifully. "we invited the incredible "Dupa Trio" to play at our new year's eve party for our lawyer firm, "GRO" the music that they played was perfect for the event, the crowd loved them. Have to say, that compared to the amazing value that they bring as a band, their fee is really fair and reasonable! looking forward to book them again in 2023 Erik"
