"An atmospheric and Christmassy decorated theatre café forms the setting for this year's Yes Jazz Christmas Matinée. It is pleasantly busy. Many music lovers choose the warmth of the Yes Jazz theatre café of De Hofnar on this cold Sunday afternoon. Gipsy jazz is popular and Christmas music always goes down well. When these two come together, you can of course count on a special afternoon. And that is what it will be. The music is beautiful. A beautiful singer and three excellent musicians ensure a beautiful Christmas Matinée. This quartet clearly shows that many different types of music can be cast in the mould of the gipsy style. Django Reinhardt resonates in everything. The tight foundation is audible in Ronald Weel's rhythm guitar and on Daniël Gueli's double bass. You can build on this. The solo guitar and the singer provide the leading parts. Marcia Bamberg stands out because of her clear voice: crystal clear and velvety soft where necessary. The improvisations of the solo guitarist, John Lighart, are smooth and inventive. Sometimes very virtuoso. The repertoire is especially very versatile. From French chansons to well-known jazz standards. Of course, the big Christmas hits are not missing. Night and Day, After you’ve gone, but also Belle Histoire and La vie en rose come in beautiful arrangements from the Yes Jazz stage. Christmas has started well! "

"Celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary it was Peter’s music which made everything go with a swing. With our family and friends in mind together we worked out a suggested a playlist. This ranged from background songs for chattering to rhythms which we reckoned people would simply have to get up and dance to. And they did. "They are incredible. Both Eduard, on the violin, and Martí on the guitar. The treatment with them is excellent, the adaptation is superb, and all the guests at the wedding were amazed by the atmosphere created with their music. Additionally, they were able to play us a song that was very special to us, learning it, and it was great. They are very polite and super professional. The sound equipment they bring is top-notch. Without a doubt, 100% recommended."

"This added a great new dimension to our event and went down very well. Had no problems from start to finish and all went to plan. Paul was excellent and the planned 'build up from background music to a bit more upbeat' worked well as got people up dancing straight away. Good communication as well. Would recommend. "

"Es war perfekt! Vladi ist nicht nur unheimlich sympathisch, sondern ein Musiker aus Leidenschaft. Die Kommunikation lief perfekt und er hat sich große Mühe gegeben, mir jeden Stress zu nehmen, weil er super eigenständig ist. Er hat ein super Gefühl dafür, mit den Gästen umzugehen und diese im Stimmung zu bringen. Ich hatte ihn als Überraschung für die Hochzeit meiner Schwester gebucht und alle Gäste waren begeistert. Er hat die Hochzeit zu etwas ganz besonderem gemacht. Ich bin ihm super dankbar für diesen tollen Abend !!!"

"Tolle Erfahrung! Suri hat unsere Hochzeit einfach magisch gemacht. Ihre Musik war nicht nur wunderschön, sondern hat die ganze Atmosphäre getragen. Alle Gäste waren total fasziniert von ihr - viele haben uns später gefragt, wo wir diese unglaubliche Musikerin gefunden haben! Mit ihrer Ausstrahlung, ihrem Talent und ihrer Feinfühligkeit hat sie unseren besonderen Tag noch besonderer gemacht. Man hat gespürt, dass sie mit ganzem Herzen dabei ist. "I proposed, wanted to create a romantic atmosphere and trusted Vasilii. I don't even want to say that I hit the nail on the head! Everything was so cool and romantic that my girlfriend and I were delighted. Vasilii sent his recordings, we chose a "playlist" together, I asked Vasilii to play my girlfriend's favorite songs, he even had to learn them! Everyone was delighted and I got a new contact for cool dates"
