"Amazing job by Derrick, he played at my wedding and I was blown away by his professionalism and his understanding and willing to work around a hectic schedule. Not only did he play the saxophone amazingly he brought multiply music supplies for my other musicians I had playing for the ceremony. If I could give higher than 5 stars I would. I definitely will reach out for future music gigs ! Thanks again Derrick !"

The tone is rich, the phrasing impeccable, and the transitions between notes are seamless. Whether playing pop, soft ballads or rock, he brings a level of finesse that sets him apart. "Most amazing band EVER! Doc and Groove Ride performed for my wedding reception and they were tremendous to work with from start to finish! They kindly learned three brand new songs just for us and they were the highlight of the evening! Every guest was asking their name as soon as they started to play and our only regret was not hiring them to play longer! Doc was our MC and he was perfect at keeping things on time, while also remembering all the little details, even the ones we added 48 hours before. They did our cocktail hour as well. We will use them for every party we ever do! They do all fun hits From 80s, 90s and today and will give you a wide ranging song list to choose from."

"We had a great day and the band was a significant part of that enjoyment. We managed to feed and water 177 people from 3pm onward and we really appreciated the way you were prepared to fit in with our arrangements and set up and then hang around. We are so pleased we went for a live band rather than a disco. We hate background music and it was great to have such a wide play list. It really made a big difference. In 40 years I have never seen my husband dance other than the odd twirl when pushed ….& those could be counted on one hand!"

"The band were fantastic ! In fact I have had so many people ask for your details. I am sure you will get a lot of calls after this event. People enjoyed themselves so much that they wanted the music to go on all night ! The only ‘complaint’ I got was that the music wasn’t enough !! People did not realise the time that you played as they enjoyed it so much !! Thank you so much for everything – I am hoping to make this an annual event so I hope we can work together again "

"We hired The DeeVines for our wedding in June 2019 and we honestly could not be happier with the experience. We found the band to be extremely professional throughout the entire planning process and with a reassuring attention to detail, which meant we had full faith in them to deliver on the night – particularly after watching them perform live in Didsbury beforehand. When our big day finally arrived, they were absolutely fantastic and played two one-hour sets that had our guests on the dance floor all evening, providing a real atmosphere to the night. The set-lists were varied enough to please all ages, and our guests genuinely commented afterwards about how they made the evening. If you are looking for a wedding band, The DeeVines are a perfect choice."
