"Poppy is a highly qualified and committed singer with wide experience of a full range of musical genres. She also works with children as well as adults teaching opera, classical, music theatre, cabaret and jazz. Her wide experience as a former student and now current singing tutor at Stagecoach Performing Arts Schools shows her ability to enthuse and encourage all her students. I am a former Director of Music in 3 schools in Gloucestershire with students age 3-18 and a very familiar with Poppy’ musicality as I am now her regular accompanist. "

"We would both like to say to you and Alex how utterly charmed we and our guests were by your presence and by your music. We felt as carefree as if we were on an idyllic summer holiday surrounded by all our dearest friends and family - you both looked wonderful and the musical tone was absolutely perfect and delivered exactly as we wished. The addition to your repertoire of Twinkle Twinkle and the ‘Can Can’ was a stroke of genius! We can’t thank you enough for helping to make our day perfect. "Rory were a fantastic part of our recent 40th birthday celebration. Not only was the music excellent, they put a great deal of effort into finding and playing Jazz that fitted the era we asked for. Communication with the band in advance was easy and they were very helpful as we prepared for the night. On the night itself they were excellent. The music was perfect, professionally delivered and the band made our guests feel at ease and welcome on the dance floor. Thank you. Wed definitely recommend and use again."

"Smooth Duo play a great selection of songs and have their own style. They are a wonderful alternative to the usual function band or disco. We didn't want to dance or have our eardrums burst by loud music. These got the balance just right. Excellent value for money and their version of Adele's "To Make You Feel My Love" is really emotional. They also provided a nice mix of background music during their breaks. Already booked them again for another function, and have recommended them to friends."
