"Over the top entertainment was provided by Mr. Murphy, aka Billy Gumbo. He started with traditional Oktoberfest music, mixed in Cajun songs, some Tex Mex and even some Rocktoberfest music! He is very personable and entertaining, getting the crowd involved and even winding them up into a screaming frenzy! He met the odd requests of Italian songs and Irish punk polkas. It was a 4 hour event and he squeezed every ounce he had into the show. Highly recommend. "

"Peter gave an excellent presentation to Leeds U3A. He arrived in good time before the meeting and set up a whole range of medieval instruments. Peter illustrated his talk with songs and music played on various instruments including lute, flute, dulcimer, bagpipes and hurdy-gurdy. His knowledge of medieval music was extensive and he chose a wide range of music to make his talk informative and interesting. Our members thoroughly enjoyed the presentation and Peter was able to hold the attention of an audience of 100 people with an hour of great music played (and sung) to a high standard. Very entertaining. "

"I had an African themed birthday party and it was amazing. To have the live drumming my professional drummer simply turned the event into something special. Howard was on time prepared and very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend his services."

"Mark Sensinger performed background music at my daughter’s bridal shower lunch at the Andover, Inn in Andover, MA. To say that he was amazing in an understatement. He did it all. As guests were arriving and mingling he played sax - a bossa nova vibe. Then, during lunch, he played background piano music, including some of his own compositions, which were creative and easy listening. Then, during dessert and coffee, when people were moving around the room again and mingling, he played keyboard and sang - mostly older and classic love songs by Frank Sinatra, Cole Porter, etc. It was unbelievable, so much like the real thing. Having live music made for a really special day. Mark is a talented and versatile musician with a varied and sophisticated repertoire and an agreeable disposition. He even came to the Andover Inn two weeks before our bridal lunch to do a sound check. He would be great at any event associated with weddings, special anniversaries and milestone birthday parties."

"I saw Jacopo several times playing live at open mic nights and in a restaurant for a private party and he has this beautiful voice, excellent guitar skills (obviously!) and a very engaging personality with a good sense of humor who manages with just that to entertain an entire crowd. You want a charming Italian man with a guitar who can sing pretty much every song you can think of (even when asked spontaneously)? Jacopo is your man. Claudia! Thanks a lot again for your kind words. This is how I try to make every listener feel, when I am live. Regardless if one-time listeners or multiple times. It's actually challenging to go beyond the music performance and to establish some fun interactions too. But it would be worse (and boring!) not to try at all. Fun things cannot happen without a special kind of Listeners who are curious and willing to engage. And you are obviously in this special List of special Listeners! This is what keeps me going, after +10 years of live solo gigs... thanks!!!

"We are so glad that we booked Peter to perform at our wedding drinks reception. He played music from a range of eras, and it was ideal for our festive winter wedding in a Medieval venue. We knew he’d be perfect as soon as we listened to some of his sample tracks online, and in person he was even better. Peter provided a great atmosphere, he was friendly and got on well with the guests. Peter phoned a couple of weeks before the event to discuss our preferences for musical eras and instruments. We asked for a range of things (including a few Christmas carols), with slightly more hurdy gurdy, as it’s our favourite period instrument. Our guests loved Peter’s performance, as did we, and we 100% recommend him for events. We’ve had lots of comments afterwards from people saying how great he was.
