"Just wanted to thank you and the Tri Tones for playing at my daughter's wedding this week. Your music accompanying her day reception of fizz and cake was perfect! Many of our guests commented how much they enjoyed listening to the band as we relaxed and chatted in the sunshine. Thank you for speaking with me beforehand and you listened to what we wanted and delivered it with skill and aplomb! I hoped we were in safe hands but it was great that you were thoroughly professional in your approach arriving early and playing in 30 degree heat without complaint! We would have no hesitation in recommending the Tri Tones to anyone! "

"We hired The L.A. Jazz Band to perform at our street party event which we were filming for a digital television brand. They were highly professional and easy going to work with as well as brilliant musicians individually and as a band. The street crowd loved their jaunty, uplifting and perfectly orchestrated songs. They’re lovely men with great energy and we would highly recommend them to play at any party event/ live music event or filming production. (10 / 10) "

"Just returned from the show at Stamford this evening 22 Nov. Outstanding musical ability, total enthusiasm and hard work, which produced a sound which defied any attempt to keep your hands or feet from moving! They love their music and it showed. It was an superb evening and I will be back."

"On the night Pete Billigton set the right atmosphere with his piano, leading up to a superb gig with Fleur Stevenson singing, accompanied by Pete and Raph Mizraki on the double bass. Fleur's voice is remarkable and the choice of pieces was most fitting. I was complimented by many friends about the music - some jazz players themselves. "

"We booked Lady J for our annual school ball. From the outset, Lady J were a pleasure to deal with - they understood our requirements, suggested great set lists and accommodated any changes we requested. We used Lady J as the entertainment throughout our sit-down dinner and they continued to perform for a set after the meal was over. This required two very different set lists - one appropriate for dining; the other aimed at filling a dance floor. They absolutely nailed it - the music was spot on for the dinner (entertaining without being distracting) and the dance floor was filled for their entire second set. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Lady J in the future, we loved them! 💙"

"Lina Peters was recommended to me by the Hanns Eisler School of Music for a jazz evening, and it proved to be a wonderful highlight in our event program at the Pro Seniore retirement residence on Kurfürstendamm. She performed with her colleague Johannes Gehlmann on guitar. Lina Peters, who proved herself an excellent saxophonist, also sensitively held back, allowing everyone the necessary space to fully express themselves. Her musical talent was clearly in her blood, as her father is also a renowned saxophonist. Her joy in the music shone through in every moment of the evening. While the saxophone is traditionally a male-dominated instrument, Lina Peters demonstrated that this stereotype is a thing of the past. Wonderful jazz moments – feeling and beautiful, both resonant and swinging, soft tones that completely captivated our elderly residents. Furthermore, Lina Peters has a captivating stage presence. "Thank you Jonathan and the band so much for making a very sad day go with a ‘swing’. It was exactly what my Mum wanted, a jazz band playing at her funeral and at the reception afterwards. You were all very professional lovely people and I would recommend you every time, for all occasions, not just funerals. Once again thank you"

"I booked Camino Sonoro to play at a garden party for my wife’s birthday, and couldn’t have made a better choice. They played some gorgeous Latin American jazz, interspersed with swing classics, and the sound was perfect for a laid-back summer afternoon. Roland’s smooth saxophone is an excellent foil for Hetty’s flexible but beautifully expressive vocals. Miguel holds it all together, unobtrusively and elegantly, on guitar. The three band members were lovely people to work with, and I’d confidently recommend them for social events of this kind."

"Amazingly unique, memorable performance We had Peter play saxophone at our wedding for our cocktail hour and he did not disappoint! He is an outstanding player and got everyone in the dancing mood as soon as the ceremony ended. He can play any song you request and did an amazing job at creating a classy, fun atmosphere for us and our guests. We would recommend him and The Sidewalk Crusaders to anyone looking for a unique addition to any event, party or wedding!"
