"So happy that I got to experience the perfect duo, they attended my fundraiser for willowbrook hospice. Everyone commented on how well suited they were and that the music was beautiful. So nice to have a duo that you can hear and enjoy. Highly recommend them and hope to use them for future parties etc."

"Let’s face it. Music soothes, heals, excites, entertains and inspires. Legendary Jazz Drummer and Bandleader, Art Blakey even said “(it) washes away the dust of everyday life.” I’ll go with that. That very moment when any artist starts to sing or play, is critical. We all want to be entertained, not just played to. And one more observation, if they look like they’re having fun - I am too. The Jazz Kings performed to a sell-out audience at the Brisbane Jazz Club: they brought their musical goods right through the front door and into our hearts and souls. The key difference is in the delivery. It’s called engagement, the sparkle in their eyes as they share their love of Jazz with everyone in the room. The Jazz Kings' repertoire is wide, impressive and constantly updated. It includes a couple of original pieces, but you can’t quite tell as they are very cleverly cloaked with the fabric of that particular era. What makes their evening different is their cheerful unpredictability. Not every song has each person doing an instrumental. (Which often can be tedious.) Two tunes might even be performed one after another without a formal introduction. Look out for some gentle fun inclusion with the audience – that’s the chance to sing along. It’s an old-fashioned but proven concept that has you laughing – and wondering where the night went. All-in-all, a thoroughly entertaining night. I’d go again. And again!"

"From the bride: "The music was wonderful! We could not have asked for a better band. Our guests were really impressed; the Uptown Society Orchestra really made our reception special.” From the groom: "What a professional group. Their exceptional musicianship brought a real element of class to the party. There is nothing like the sound of a live band, and this group made our reception better than we could have hoped for.” From the father of the bride: (Dennis Nowicki): "The band was fantastic -- they really exceeded our expectations." "Amazing, such a journey! His frequency is very high with performing music and explanations on how his journeys have started. He's like a flamenco guitarist but with his sitar. He brought his deep soul to his music. You might be in trance whilst listening to him and his instrument. Guru!"

"We chose Bella Swing Band because they looked and sounded like a class act online- and they were on our wedding day! Hetty was professional and friendly from the off and met with me at the venue to discuss the event. The P.A. system being offered by my venue wasn't suitable for a band and Hetty sourced a suitable one at a better price. The band did 3 x 45 minutes sets of brilliant stuff, including all of our requests and Hetty did a playlist of my choosing for the intervals. The band are talented and trained musicians who charge a fair price for their services. All the guests had a good dance and have since sung their praises to me. They were the perfect band, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and we look forward to seeing them again soon"

"The Gatsby Cats gave a fantastic performance during our afternoon tea wedding reception. We loved their music style and their performance really contributed to giving a chic chilled vibe! They were flexible to work with, in particular when we had to rebook our wedding due to COVID-19. Thanks for making our day special!"

"The music which you and the band played last Saturday for our daughter Sally’s wedding was excellent and all our guests really appreciated your musicianship and the great atmosphere which you helped create. Thank you too for moving into the Marquee and playing during the meal – you were so helpful to us in all the arrangements. Please pass on our thanks to all the members of the band."
