"Julie and the Kenzie Jazz Band were fantastic - I booked them for a corporate event and they helped set the tone for the type of event we planned. It was an elegant affair in the lobby of a building and their music and overall vibe was exactly what we wanted. They'd be an excellent addition to any gathering or party, big or small. Julie was flexible and easygoing leading up to and on the day of the event with last-minute changes which is always appreciated. Everyone in the band seemed playful and fun, too which was nice to see. I'd love to work with them again for a future event. Thank you, again!"

"I recently had the pleasure of hiring this group for a corporate event, and from the moment they took the stage, they created a very elegant and refined atmosphere providing the perfect background music for our dinner. Their energy was incisive but never aggressive, allowing all the guests to enjoy the conversation. Each band member was not only talented but also very kind and flexible. "I booked Hetty and her trio to play at a garden party for my wife’s birthday, and couldn’t have made a better choice. They played some gorgeous Latin American jazz, interspersed with swing classics, and the sound was perfect for a laid-back summer afternoon. Ronan's smooth saxophone is an excellent foil for Hetty’s flexible but beautifully expressive vocals. Miguel holds it all together, unobtrusively and elegantly, on guitar. They were lovely people to work with, and I’d confidently recommend them for social events of this kind."

"Rosie was great to work with from booking stage, on the night and post event. Our guests really enjoyed themselves as they were transported back to the 1920’s era and set the mood for the rest of the evening. Would highly recommend Decatur Street Jazz for future events!"
