"“Musical Wizard:” Against the backdrop of the oak-panelled Great Hall, and under the hooded gaze of Lord Preston’s impressive portrait, Peter Bull, resplendent in black velvet and sporting a large ostrich-feather hat, took us through a tour of the music and instruments of the Civil War. The Hall itself was used as lodgings for the Roundheads and one could imagine the music echoing down the centuries to a very different audience. Peter Bull performed two different concerts, beginning with a selection of tunes by John Playford (1651), played with great dexterity on the hurdy-gurdy (or wheel fiddle), a cross between a violin and the bagpipes! In contrast, he then performed the popular Drink to Me Only With Thine Eyes (Ben Johnson) and Gather Ye Rosebuds (William Lawes) on the lute. "

"I had the pleasure of the Brogues two piece ceilidh band of Alan and Grace to host my 21st birthday. The whole experience from booking, organising and the party itself was perfect. Grace and Alan were professional, friendly and ensured the best experience possible for both me and my guests. They ensured a personalised experience and everyone commented on how amazing the music and atmosphere was and I cannot thank them enough for making my 21st the special night it was."

"After 19 years together, we finally tied the knot on 8th June in Devizes. It was a lucky chance meeting with Tim Fulker that made decide to hire him to play Sax during our wedding breakfast outside in the sunshine. As a bloke, it's always nice to get something right, and I certainly did. Tim played beautifully during our 3 hour meal, and knew exactly when to play, which the guests loved. It really complimented the whole day. Tim then went on to fill in as DJ and got everyone up on their feet throughout the night. Tim made it feel like he was part of our family, and was so easy to talk to and work with, that he made a great event, a spectacular one. Thank you Tim, we cannot rate you highly enough, and look forward to our next gathering where we can call on your services again."

"Our wedding in Zermatt was already magical thanks to the mountain scenery, but Pianist-Berne added an entirely new dimension. His performance during the ceremony and dinner was filled with emotion, subtlety, and beauty. He even arranged a piano version of our favorite indie song for the processional—it was perfect. He traveled all the way up to our venue with no issues and handled the setup independently. He was friendly, calm, and clearly experienced. Several guests told us it was the best live piano music they’d ever heard at a wedding. We can’t thank him enough for being part of our day."

"David Hitchen has guested at our Jazz Festival in 2021, and 2022. We have booked him again for 2023. He played brilliantly with our jazz Quartet, and even presented some of the show himself, in excellent French. He paid tribute to the jazz trumpet greats, and even interacted superbly with the organisers children, who played tye encore with the group. Make sure you book this guy. He's awesome!"

"Mark is the ultimate professional in all aspects. He consults and liaises with you and the other musicians/dj to make sure the vibe of your occasion is achieved to the highest standard. We wanted an upbeat party band that played music to keep everyone on the dance floor and that's exactly what we got. Great set up, great comms and a lovely bunch of lads. "I hired Stephan pretty last minute to play at my wedding ceremony and during my cocktail hour after a family member bailed. I saw some videos of him on the Internet, and I pretty much knew at that moment that he would be perfect. Stephan was a real pleasure to deal with starting with the booking process. He was very responsive to my emails. His rates are very very reasonable as well, and that never hurts. He was kind enough to learn a song that he did not know because I was walking down the aisle to that song (Storybook Love from the Princess Bride). He did this for no charge. What an awesome and thoughtful gift! It is not often that a musician offers to do something like that. One vendor I had contacted after thinking Stephan might not be available actually told me that the song would be too difficult for him to learn. Lucky for me, everything worked out with Stephan's schedule. I recently watched my wedding video, and it occurred to me that I never talked to Stephan at my wedding to thank him for doing such a wonderful job. He played so beautifully, and the photographs of him playing at my wedding show just how passionate he is about music; it's visibly apparent. Stephan is very talented, and I recommend him with flying colors. I only wish I would have thanked him in person."
