Review Centre: Wedding Musicians

"We organised The Cheers to play at our wedding in September 2018, and it was one of the best decisions of the day. I think there are three reasons why I would recommend them: 1. The music is great - The Cheers played a selection of oldies and new music to cater to the tastes of all our guests. We had a lot of kids and they even played some things purposefully to get them on the dance floor with their parents - a lovely touch. They are very talented musicians (with credentials!) and made everything sound great in our venue, even though they only had a short time to sound-check. We received numerous compliments that the band were excellent. They learnt our first dance perfectly and performed it exactly how we wanted. Just fantastic. 2. They are very professional - Our speeches and breakfast overran by about 45 minutes, but the band were extremely accommodating and calm about the delay. They setup extremely quickly to get us back on track and they were thoroughly proficient in breaking down at the end. They brought all their own equipment and everything looked and sounded great. 3. They were very easy to work with - Even though we didn’t meet the band until the day of the wedding, they were extremely easy and pleasant to deal with. Our main point of contact was Ben (the band manager) who was charming, quick to respond to calls and messages and very helpful. Formal arrangements were quick and professional and the entire interaction went very smoothly. Overall, the experience of hiring and hearing The Cheers was faultless. Thank you so much for rounding off our special day with fantastic entertainment."

"Jeff was perfect for our event. We were looking for an acoustic guitarist to play in the background during our event, and Jeff filled that role exactly as expected. He is very talented, and we couldn't have asked for anything better—especially for his rates!! He could easily charge twice as much for what was provided. He was extremely professional, showed up early for the event, and was already set up when we got there. Thank you, Jeff!"

"Well, where to start!? I booked Vicki for my sister wedding and WOW, she is amazing!!! Phenomenal even. The music was absolutely incredible and everyone at the wedding enjoyed it so much. It was just what we needed whilst we had some food and drinks. I had so many people come up to me to say how much they loved her performance, how talented she is and how much they loved her vibe. I even got a comment saying how incredible it was that Vicki was smiling, whilst playing the saxophone! I mean, she really was incredible. Vicki’s time at the wedding has left a wonderful memory for us all to look back on. We truly loved every minute of her playing. If you’re thinking of booking Vicki, please do it! "Perfect accompaniment We were a bit nervous because we hadn’t been able to see you perform before Saturday, but those nerves disappeared quickly. It was the perfect musical backdrop to what was a perfect evening for us. You struck exactly the right tone — not too heavy, not too light. Even the non-jazz lovers among our guests liked it very much. I’d have no problem recommending you to others. "

"We chose this pianist for our wedding in Siena, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made during the entire planning process. From the very first contact, everything felt easy, professional, and well-organized. He took the time to understand exactly what kind of atmosphere we wanted, asking detailed questions about the ceremony, the reception, and even the style of our guests. This level of attention really made a difference. On the wedding day, everything was absolutely flawless. He arrived well in advance and handled all the setup independently, which allowed us to focus entirely on enjoying our day. The music during the ceremony was simply breathtaking. Each piece was performed with such sensitivity and elegance that it enhanced every emotional moment without ever feeling overwhelming. During the aperitif and dinner, the piano created a sophisticated and relaxing atmosphere. The repertoire was incredibly well chosen, moving naturally between classical pieces, light jazz, and modern arrangements.
