Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"Tunehead played at The Upton Jazz Festival 2021 which was delayed from our usual June date until October because of Covid. They played on our outdoor covered stage at the Swan Hotel. The band are ‘as it says on the tin’ - funky, modern and a tight group of players. On a dreadful day they played a great set and held the audience. They’re also a pleasure to deal with. We’ve invited them back for 2022."

"We had the pleasure of hosting the Wimbledon Jazz Duo for a private party on a boat, and they were fantastic. Their music provided the perfect backdrop for the evening, striking just the right balance between presence and subtlety. Our firm truly admired their ability to play beautifully without ever getting in the way of conversations or the flow of the event. Their professionalism and talent were evident throughout the night. We couldn’t have asked for a better musical experience and would highly recommend them for any occasion!"

"The coming of the band The Moon clearly enchanted all the guests of the evening: friendly, professional and musically excellent, a treat from start to finish as well in acoustic (set during the cocktail) as in electric (during the evening) a faultless performance which gave the smile to all. Bravo guys!"

"Nick provided the music for our wedding twice (Thanks COVID). He was the easiest to work with! When sitting down with Nick and discussing our wedding, he was interested and engaged in fulfilling our wants and needs for the day. Nick provided the ceremony music, cocktail hour entertainment and even played our first dance. We gave him free reign for cocktail hour, but he learned the specific songs requested and played them to precision! We still have family and friends that ask about him and share how special it was to have live music at our wedding! Some of our friends have even become “super fans” and have gone to see him live at one of the many gigs he’s had since! Thanks to Nick our wedding was a day that we will never forget!"

"High Energy! StarAlliance brought life to our event! They were energetic, smiling and enthusiastic! We had them playing acoustic and wandering around in a "campfire" style. It was fantastic! We couldn't have been more happy with their performance!"

"Yiddishkeit Klezmer Ensemble was everything we had hoped for. Communication before the party was always prompt and easy. They offered a variety choices for the size of band to work with our budget. There was a great variety of music to choose from, too. During the party the band really read the crowd, and communicated with us throughout the evening. They shifted with the mood of the party- roving around beforehand as guests were arriving, then playing jazz for the background during dinner, and then after dinner they got our guests up and dancing, teaching them how to do the steps! They are talented, professional, and really fun to work with! Plus they traveled quite far to play for us, with only a nominal travel charge. Highly, highly recommend! "

"Maya, in combination with a saxophonist and DJ, delivered an unforgettable performance at our wedding celebration on July 15, 2023. Her presence throughout the day—from musically accompanying the bride’s entrance in the church to performing throughout the entire ceremony—contributed to a festive and welcoming atmosphere. After the church service, the celebration continued at Stadthalle Olfen, where the wedding party had a proper celebration. The response of our guests to Maya’s music was overwhelmingly positive, which was reflected in a constantly lively dance floor. Her ability to respond to individual music requests and present them in a unique and engaging way left a lasting impression. The quality of her performance was excellent—clearly professional—and everything ran smoothly from a technical standpoint. We were especially pleased that Maya seamlessly integrated into the celebration and actively participated in the festivities when she was not on stage. "Local wedding we enjoyed a mix of easy listening music, to start the evening, customised dance list then a ceilidh dance segment with a caller to get the party into full swing followed again by another live music set. Brilliant combo great to get everyone involved. Reasonable pricing for all that you enjoy. Really made the wedding special Thank you"

"We found Eduardo and Borja looking for live music for our wedding, especially with saxophone, but what we received far exceeded our expectations! Not only did they provide an impeccable live performance, but they also took care of all the technical sound during the ceremony, the cocktail, the dinner and the party, and all for an incredible price! From the first contact, communication was very easy. They clearly explained all their services and let us choose the repertoire , which made every moment even more special. During the cocktail they created a magical atmosphere with chill lounge music and live saxophone. It was a real success: our guests were fascinated and the energy they brought was simply spectacular. We couldn't recommend them more highly: they were great and brought soul to our celebration!"
