"The Arrival played at our wedding this week, they were fantastic. They learnt our first dance song and performed superbly. Had people up dancing and were even dancing/playing on the dance floor, coupled with handing out a tambourine made us feel like part of the band haha! They sound great and would 100% recommend them for weddings and any other events also!"

" Amazing performance "I can''t say enough great things about working with Dave. We hired him to be the musical entertainment for a party and we are so glad we did. For starters, he is an absolutely brilliant musician, and my guests were so complimentary of his performance. He was engaging with everyone at the party, accepted song requests, made everyone laugh and just had an unbelievable stage presence. We will most definitely hire Dave again for future events. "I booked Mustard for my daughters 30 birthday. We wanted something special for her and they didn't disappoint with a great mix of music which suited everyone's tastes. Fantastic singer and the rest of the band were brilliant. I can't recommend them enough."

"Álvar was an absolute pleasure to work with! He was soo prompt with responses - as we planned our wedding from Canada. Álvar was very flexible with choosing the volin pieces to play, he was also very creative with figuring out what pieces would work for different parts of the wedding. Thank you soo much for making our day absolutely perfect! "

"My 40th birthday party was fast approaching and I made the decision to try and find a band as both my friends and I love to dance. A good friend recommended Goldsworth Gerry so I found where they were next playing and a group of us headed over to listen to them at a local pub. We had the best night and I didn’t hesitate to book them, they played music I have on my ipod and I love the way Martin sings so it was an easy decision to make. Martin was professional throughout our correspondence, learning four songs that meant the world to me and allowing me to organise the set list for the night. The songs they learnt I chose and then off they went to learn them and pull them together for my party night. On the night Goldsworth Gerry were there before I was!! All set up and ready to go. The music they played had everyone up and dancing, but it was the songs they learnt especially for my party were what truly made the night. Absolutely amazing night, just the way I dreamed it would be. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Goldsworth Gerry; reliable, professional and a quality band that ensures everyone is up and dancing."

"We had the Brogues band at our wedding day in September 2023. Brogues band were absolutely integral to our special day, not only was the music perfect for our setting & wedding the service and professionalism we experienced from the band was amazing! We had spoken with Grace from the band initially who had initially discussed our wedding day plans- no request was too much for the band. They completely slotted into our day and wedding as we wished! From the Ceilidh calling to the dancing itself, we could not have asked for anything more. Following the wedding we had many comments from our wedding guests complimenting how great the band were and how relaxed and well co-ordinated the Ceilidh dances were. Grace had done an excellent job of Ceilidh calling, and rounding up members of the wedding- which we appreciate can not be easy at the reception after the guests have had a few drinks! The dance floor was never empty and this was something we were so pleased about. As our venue can seem massive when the floor isn’t filled, however the band ensured that there was always ample people up boogeying away. From the moment of the first dance to our last dance of Loch Lomond, the band completely ensured the party was going and everyone had a great time. Requests were kindly taken from the dance floor too which allowed everyone to feel part of the wedding and gave every one a chance to get up and dance into the night! We cannot recommend Brogues Band enough, absolutely perfect if you’re looking for a traditional & laid back Scottish wedding- with your own stamp added! Thank you Brogues Band x"

"The Arrival played at our wedding last week. They were absolutely amazing. Their second set of songs had loads of people on their feet dancing, and they were full of energy throughout. Not only was the singing and playing superb, they were also outstanding performers so it was great to just watch as well as to dance to. They also performed our first dance and father and bride dance songs, combining a couple of songs together. Therefore they went above and beyond preparing to play for our wedding. I personally was up dancing to their songs the whole time, loved the music they played, and lots of our wedding guests were commenting to me how good the band was. Some of our guests had travelled over 300 miles for our wedding and wished the band were more local to them so they could book them for upcoming birthday parties. I would definitely recommend."
