"Pianist-Berne played at our company’s end-of-year gala in Geneva, and it was a highlight of the evening. His music added sophistication without being intrusive—perfect background ambiance while also showcasing his talent. He arrived early, was impeccably dressed, and had all the equipment set up without us having to worry about a thing. His repertoire was broad: from Chopin to Coldplay, every piece was played with emotion and precision. Many of our international guests commented on how impressive the pianist was. "Who ever says 'they don't write 'em like they used to' should take a listen to Pugsley Buzzard's latest album Wooden Kimono. Buzzard is a bewitching songwriter and storyteller often combining groove laden or playful tunes with dark lyrics. Showing off his renowned blues - jazz piano style and infectious raspy vocals, Pugsley is complemented on this album by a top band of horns and down and dirty guitar, that makes for hot listening. ". "We were fortunate to book, 'Dinner Jazz Duo' for our recent wedding. They played a wonderful programme of music rich in the nostalgia of the American Songbook, which is what we requested. Wow. Their performance was greatly enjoyed by all, impeccably played, sublime. They are consummate professionals, they arrived as they said and set up in good time and as previous reviews confirm, they are exceptionally talented musicians.
