"Yesterday's gig at Just Badela in Orlando West, Soweto, was a truly memorable experience. We enjoyed a soul-soothing live performance by the legendary Herbie Tsoaeli and his exceptional all-star band, featuring Ayanda Sikade on drums, Yonela Mnana on piano, Sbusiso Mkhize on trumpet, and Muhammad Dawjee on saxophone. Their synergy created an atmosphere that resonated deeply with everyone present. The event also highlighted Nico Phooko’s creative spirit. Inspired by the music and the warm ambiance, he crafted a beautiful live painting for his “Notes & Strokes” series. This gathering was more than just a concert; it was a shared experience many attendees will cherish for a long time. I also want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all who came out and supported the event, particularly those who purchased a copy of my coffee table book, “RHYTHMS IN BLACK & WHITE - A VISUAL JOURNEY THROUGH THE WORLD OF JAZZ,” published by Brandhill Africa. Your presence made the evening truly special, and I sincerely appreciate each and every one of you. "Kirsty sang for a 60th Birthday celebration in a beautiful Croft we stayed in for the occasion. We enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea with delightful background music. Kirsty was accompanied by her Dad who also played some amazing piano pieces as well as playing the low pipe for us. Kirsty tailored the set to the favourites of the Birthday Girl so the whole performance was very personal. Kirsty has a very warm personality which was reflected in her singing and the combination of Dad & Daughter was very special indeed. Kirsty’s voice is like velvet and the performance was very emotional. I would certainly recommend Kirsty if you are looking for a first class singer. Thanks yet again Kirsty and John. We hope to meet again!"

"If you walked into The Pocket blindfolded last week you might have thought Tom Jones had dropped by to front this power trio. But there's no mistaking why they call Stephen Bailey 'The Wailer', as he fills the room with deep guttural blues you could be back in 50's Mississippi. With a rhythm section tighter than a bungee jumper's harness and keyboard skills that could give Jools Holland a run for his money, these guys mean business! "Wesley is a pro. Never met him before and by the time the band got to the venue, everything was setup and ready to go. We did a quick sound check and the gig went off without a hitch. Sound and lighting rigs were Tour-grade; the show looked and sounded fantastic. Couldn’t recommend anyone higher tbh"

"We wanted a sax player to offer a bit more of a chilled vibe and then some Ibiza type sounds for our guests on arrival at the reception. It was a lot better than no music or just a DJ playing tunes. SaxoPhoney Michael was great interacting the sax with his own songs playing and then the Ibiza music was amazing, all our guests commented how it was one of the best weddings they had been to and SaxoPhoney Michael was a part of that. He interacted with guests and was perfect for our Summer outdoor wedding. Highly recommend!!!"

" Alissa , married on 10/12/2019 5.0 Wonderful MC! Nathan was phenomenal. During the planning process, he made sure that we knew that our wedding was all about myself and my husband, and he was going to do everything possible to make sure our day was special. Nathan went above and beyond! On the actual day of the reception, he took care of everything so that my husband and I could just enjoy ourselves, while also checking in to make sure we were having a great time and when we were ready to do things, such as cutting the cake, certain songs to be played, etc. It was such a pleasure to work with Nathan, and I recommend him 110%!
