Review Centre: Folk Singers

"Once again the Manor House was packed to capacity for what turned out to be a good humoured and very instructive concert. Dressed in period costume with a dashing feather in his cap, Peter Bull treated his audience to a range of airs and ballads from the time of King Charles I. His quiet and unprepossessing manner immediately endeared him to all present and he soon had feet tapping to the brisk rhythm of the hurdy-gurdy. A carefully constructed introduction to each instrument — the aforementioned hurdy-gurdy, the flute, dulcimer and lute, and the type of tune about to be played or sung, added to the enjoyment of the evening. Although lacking the nuances of later music with its elaborate crescendos and embellishments, Peter Bull gave his audience an insight into the vigour and love of words and music enjoyed during the period of the English Civil War and the early renaissance."

"Was so sweet and helpful every step of the way. She was a joy to have on my day, and also very easy to talk to. I loved her set up which looked so cute with my ceremony and she has the voice of an angel, so sweet and delicate would recommend a 100% and will be looking to work with her again in the future when I need any live music ?"

"Andrew hat auf unser kleinen Geburtstagsfeier in Travemünde für ein Gänsehautfeeling gesorgt. Seine Musik und sein Gesang hat die Feier sehr bereichert. Ein netter und autentischer Musiker der auf seine Zuhörer eingeht und die Stimmung wahrnimmt. Selten haben wir eine so tolle Stimmqualität in Kombination professineller Perfomance erlebt. "I booked Owen with 2-3 weeks notice to play as part of my surprise wedding proposal to my girlfriend. It was a relatively unique outdoors location and on the day there were a few last minute changes needed and Owen was excellent throughout. "Over the last several years, I have had the opportunity to hear many musical entertainment groups. They have ranged from large groups to solo singers. Todd & the Two-Tars absolutely ranks as one of the best all-around solo singers I have ever heard. He has the ability to provide great dance music and is highly entertaining because he also is a very good musician. He truly delivers a great evening of danceable and fun music to listen to."
