"Hi Pat, I wanted to thank you again for the wonderful reading you gave me today and to tell you that it turned out that you were even more accurate than I first thought. I called my mother right after the reading. You had mentioned that my grandparents farmed in western Kansas. I thought that this was incorrect because, to my knowledge, they always lived in the Winfield, Rock, and Fredonia areas. However, my mother confirmed that they did live in Sharon Springs, in western Kansas, before I was born. You also said that my grandmother died in her late 80s, of a problem involving her heart or lungs. You nailed it: she died at 87 of heart failure that caused her lungs to fill up with fluid! You asked about a close family friend named Samuel or Sam. Mom believes that my grandparents had a friend called Samuel, with whom they often played music. Your leads about looking in the Kansas City area for more information about Emma's adoption seem very promising. We had always assumed that her adoption had come through one of the Wichita or Winfield area maternity homes. However, when I looked up the history of adoption in the Kansas City area this evening, I learned that in the first half of the 1900s, Kansas City was known as the 'adoption hub of the US'. Families from all over the country put their daughters on trains and sent them there to give birth in one of a number of maternity homes, due to favorable adoption laws. This gives us a whole new avenue to pursue and a new state (Missouri) in which to search for her birth records! We're still not sure why she would have called her doll 'the brown doll' or what blue box she might have been talking about, but we're working on it! "I hosted a birthday party for my husband and hired Markus to do his mentalism act. He was spectacular, entertaining the 25 or so people who attended to their utter delight. My guests' age range spanned seven decades, but somehow he got the whole diverse audience laughing at his comedy and absolutely awestruck by his mentalism prowess. The birthday party turned out to be a wonderful occasion, due in large part to Markus' warm and welcoming presence as well as to all the tricks he has up his sleeve. I highly recommend you invite Markus to do his magic at your next gathering. He's a fantastic performer. If you're looking for a very special addition to whatever gathering you're having, he's your man!"

À Avignon, les festivaliers ont pu apprécier le talent de cette artiste atypique au théâtre Paradise République. L'illusionniste cannoise a pris le parti de mixer mage et mentalisme - ou plutôt magie mentale dans la même représentation. Une recette délicate qui fonctionne à merveille grâce à sa personnalité attachante et une réelle proximité avec ses spectateurs - adultes ou enfants invités à participer activement à ses expériences sur scène. Les prédictions et les divinations s'enchaînent à un rythme effréné, entremêlées d'effets magiques bien ficelés avec des cordes, cartes, pièces, bagues, Rubik's Cube et même un journal déchiré et reconstitué à couper le souffle. La mise en scène, simple mais dynamique, ne souffre d'aucun temps mort. Le public est conquis. Au terme de sa prestation, Zatanna annonce sur un ton sarcastique : « Si vous n'avez pas aimé, dites-le aux gens que vous n'aimez pas..». De notre côté, nous avons pris grand plaisir à découvrir son spectacle."
