"Made in Ireland" is the name of the festival, but it only features one real Irishman. Gavin Carpenter travels directly from Dublin to Neu-Ulm. Squeezed into his tour schedule between two gigs in Dublin's Temple Bar pub district. His motto in Neu-Ulm as well: "No Fillers, only Killers." With a best-of-Irish folk, from traditional hits like "Back Home in Derry" to hits by the Pogues, Carpenter goes from zero to 100. Remarkably, the Johnny Cash look-alike would also pass for a double of the "Man in Black" vocally with his covers. "

"We booked the DoubleShots for our black tie event and they were brilliant. They have a great mix of songs with fantastic audience interaction as well. We had the best night and by the end we were all singing along at the top of our voices! This is a great band and if you book them, you will not be disappointed!"

"Kluci jsou naprosto úžasní. V sobotu jsem byla v Praze na koncertě Děda Mládek illegal band a můžu říct, že tohle byla první předkapela, která se mi kdy na koncertě líbila a to jsem koncertu zažila mraky včetně zahraničních hvězd. Kluci, jste úžasní jen tak dál. Určitě jsem na vašem vystoupení nebyla naposled 😉"

"If you're considering Groove Ride for your wedding or event, stop searching and book them immediately. Groove Ride was hands-down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very beginning, Doc was incredible to work with. He was responsive, organized, thoughtful, and made the entire planning process feel effortless. Every question was answered quickly, every detail was handled professionally, and he gave us complete confidence that the entertainment would be amazing. And wow—did they deliver. The band absolutely brought the party. Our dance floor was packed all night long, from the first song to the last. The energy, talent, and ability to read the crowd were unmatched. We had guests of all ages dancing, singing along, and having the time of their lives. One of the things we heard over and over throughout the night was, “Where did you find this band?” and “They are incredible!” Our guests are still talking about them weeks later. "The guys played at our wedding, and we absolutely loved it! They are so, so kind and know exactly how to create a fantastic atmosphere :). They even managed to get the otherwise shy groom out on the dance floor. "Samson 65 did an awards dinner dance for us 16th May 2015 in Harrogate. Alex was our lead singer - she has a lovely stage presence and was warm and friendly with our guests, as well as having a great singing voice. Darren's a competent musician and his guitar solo on Rocking All Over the World went down especially well! Throughout the booking process Darren kept in regular touch which was reassuring, and promptly and courteously dealt with invoices, PAT tests, insurance etc. I would recommend them highly."
