"For our 2019 wedding at Milwaukee’s historic Turner Hall we sought a rich but relaxed - even funky - feel. Vintage table décor. Comfort foods. Great whisky. Exceptional hospitality. And timeless music that everyone could enjoy. Arron Crook was hands-down the perfect vocalist for us. He has a gorgeous, smoky voice, a smooth expressiveness, and a very appealing stage presence. His delivery of mid-century standards and modern R&B hits were spot on, and conveyed a maturity well beyond his years. He’s an old soul."

"Richard was a dream to work with! His communication was fantastic, and he went above and beyond by jumping on a video call to to get to know us and our vision. He even learned a couple of new songs just for our us. Plus, he showed up looking sharp and perfectly suited for the occasion. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!"

"My 80th BD celebration was held on May 24th. It is May 28th and I am still getting KUDOS from my guest about Nadine and her Soul of New York Band. Nadine was professional and always had a smile in her voice from inception. I had spoken with two other bands and was very impressed of Nadine's understanding of what type of music I wanted for my event. I am still getting comments from my guest asking "where did you find your band?", "the singers were excellent", "best BD party ever" and of course I felt very proud my choice was Nadine and her Soul of New York Band. Thank you Nadine, for showing up and showing out, as the saying goes...many blessings!!!!!!"

"Richard was absolutely phenomenal! We booked him for our wedding cocktail hour, he came dressed to impress, was super professional throughout the entire process with communication, and his acoustic renditions of our song requests were just perfect. We've had multiple guests come up and compliment his playing. Highly recommend!"

Alex (organizer) and his team helped us with every detail from the very beginning, and even though we had our wedding outside our hometown, they made everything so easy. "We had the Blue Moon Jazz play for our wedding welcome party on August 17, 2023 in Sorrento Italy. I corresponded remotely in the USA to setup everything with Rapheal who is both very professional and very responsive to all of my emails. They were outstanding. Valentina, their singer is incredible. They played the song styles we had requested in both English and Itailian. They were very entertaining and so good that they got everyone dancing to their music. If you are looking for an excellent jazz band with an outstanding singer you will not be disappointed. Thanks again Rapheal and the Blue Moon Jazz for making our daughter’s wedding welcome party a huge success!! "

"Wui lol, I don't wanna know how much you play for. I just came to say how good y'all were last night at Thessa's 21st. I'm sure y'all already know it. Amazing voices 👏 really touched the fatu. Also, the band players were just too good. Very talented. LOVE LOVE LOVED IT! Appreciated the music so much. 😭 I was your biggest fan 🤣🤣🤣 was hard to keep my ass still when y'all got on. I enjoyed it soo much that apparently, some lady said to me "its not yo birthday" and I said to my cousin, "Oh aye, I couldn't hear her because I was feeling the music." Hahaha. Thank you again. 🤍"
