"Huffington post Review by Randy Radic From the Land Down Under, where “women glow and men thunder,” comes Ivan Beecroft, who has a new single out, called “Believe.” It’s the first release from his forthcoming album. “Believe” is a song about the complexities of human relationships. Ivan’s music and lyrics are inspired by his time as a steelworker, a vocation that opened his eyes and his conscience to what was going on around him. Turning to music was his way of coping with the inequities of life. Stylistically, Ivan writes and sings retro rock from the 1990s, with heavy influences from grunge pop music. And if you listen closely to “Believe,” you can hear just a hint of Pearl Jam in the tune. The way Ivan phrases smacks of Eddie Vedder, as does the melody. Still, the resemblances are nuanced and not overt or obvious. That being said, the song also reminds, because of the piano, of Billy Joel. It should be noted that Ivan plays all the instruments on the song: drums, bass, guitars, piano and the synth. In addition, he produced, mixed and mastered the song. In other words, Ivan is multi-talented and definitely has an ear for what works and what doesn’t. “Believe” begins with a snappy drum beat, then the piano jumps in and the melody is set. The melody is strong and rides on the wave provided by the piano; the drums carry the beat well, emphasizing the snare which pops with gusto. "

Choosing a live pianist was important to us, and this service delivered far beyond what we imagined. From the first interaction, it was clear we were dealing with a highly experienced professional. He listened carefully to our ideas and helped us build a musical plan tailored specifically to our event. His suggestions were always thoughtful and never imposed, which made the process very enjoyable. The ceremony was one of the most emotional parts of the day, and the piano music played a huge role in that. Every moment, from the entrance to the vows, was accompanied with elegance and precision. It felt natural, never forced, and deeply moving. During the reception, the atmosphere shifted to something more relaxed but still refined. The transition between styles was seamless, and the repertoire was both sophisticated and accessible. Guests of all ages appreciated the music, which is not always easy to achieve. Weddings can be stressful events in which people are easily distracted, so the hush that settled on the room is testament to the feeling and sensitivity of Shane’s playing. Everyone commented afterwards on what a lovely moment it was. The pieces he chose were especially apt, and he played them with brio, confidence, and a command of the music that combined professionalism with an inimitable artistic judgement. "We are just emerging from our post-wedding bubble and wanted to say an enormous thank you to you personally for your music on our wedding day. It was just the most magical day and really surpassed all of our expectations. We had always hoped that we’d have the dancefloor full all through the night and I think we achieved that very successfully! You were absolutely amazing all night long and so many of our guests have commented on how brilliant you were - both in the musical side of things, but also just bringing the most amazing energy to the dancefloor all night long - we can’t possibly thank you enough.
