"We saw this band by chance when on holiday in Saint Jean de Luz: brilliant! Lots of Blues Brothers and classic soul for us oldies, smattered with newer numbers that the kids knew, but the combination worked for everybody. There was a group dancing rock and roll who appeared to have come just to boogie. The singers are young and dynamic, great energy and harmonies, and four horns for the full soul band effect. They kept if up for more than two hours, with the singers coming down into the crowd at the end to get people singing along and dancing. Fabulous evening and a great discovery."

"What an amazing band. I might have to leave 2 reviews just so as I can give them 10 stars. Everyone at my party is buzzing about the band. Great setup, amazing singers and musicians, brilliant playlist that was tailored to my themed party, requests, long sets with one song flowing straight from the last one so no weird silences, great interaction with the audience and even joined in the dress theme for my retro 80s and 90’s party. From the point of booking the band kept in touch by phone and text. They knew exactly what I was looking for and told me everything they would do on the day. Honestly, the band was the one part of my party I was worried about as you never really know, but I most certainly need not have worried. I would recommend them to anyone and hope to see them perform again. If you are thinking about booking them then do it, you will not be disappointed."

"Josh and I just wanted to say a huge thank you for your performance at our wedding. We thought you were absolutely incredible and the whole atmosphere during your sets was just amazing. All our guests that we've spoken to seem to agree and we've definitely heard a few 'best wedding band I've ever seen' comments!  Thank you as well for your efforts and suggestions when I was trying to sort out the issue with my friend with epilepsy - sorry that I didn't reply to your last email the day before the wedding. It's a shame she didn't want to risk it but ultimately her decision.  We're so pleased you were part of our wedding and hope we get a chance to hear you play again in the future!  "

"As the groom, I got to choose the band. I had heard Lisa and The E-lusion at my now-wife's sorority formal, and knew what my first choice would be. Besides being a genuinely talented band, The-Elusion are accommodating. With their extensive playlist of both traditional wedding reception songs and more recent pop, we were able to say which songs we did not want them to play, while Lisa does a great job of playing whatever the audience is grooving. Also, they were willing to learn entirely new songs for our first dance, the father-daughter dance, and mother-son dance. We received tons of complements about the band from our guests. "The band were great! The food hadn’t turned up and they were really accommodating with timings and they did an amazing version of our first dance, and we’ve had lots of people tell us how great they were. Highly recommended!"
