"We had the pleasure of Melissa singing at our vintage themed Wedding in February. What can I say - Melissa is so talented and a beautiful singer. She made our drinks reception absolutely perfect and all our guests where complimenting how fantastic she was. Melissa was so accommodating with her set list and even sang a personal request for me and Tom (husband). Having Melissa sing at our wedding made our day the extra special and I could not recommend her highly enough. Thank you so much and we would love to see you sing again in the future."

"Fun and professionalism guaranteed! We chose the Self Portrait Blues based on a recommendation from a vendor we met during the organization of our wedding, and we couldn't have made a better choice! They are friendly, empathetic from the first moment, extremely talented, professional, helpful, and engaging. Their music is amazing, and they can elegantly and delicately involve all the guests without ever being intrusive. They were always available for every request and patient with unexpected situations! We still receive many compliments for choosing the musical band, and we will never stop thanking them for everything they did for us; our wedding would never have been the same without them. "Just a short note to thank you ever so much for the great show and dance for us here at the HAG. I have waited until today to write this as we had a meeting on Wednesday and it confirmed everything that I told everyone about the upcoming show and dance. I was told, the band said this was the first time you have played in a hanger and I must say, the acoustics were awesome and the sounds were great even where I was sitting. At the time I thought you had more than enough on your plate but how in hell did you save the song "At Last" for the very last number. It was the very song I would have requested and it back to my Junior and Senior days in high school. Nuf said about that. Yup, I might have had a small tear in my eye, hearing the music, you absolutely stunning! And the Band, exceeded my expectations. Got to get you guys back—Rick Holland is just a splendid musician!!"

"Very professional and engaging. Company aperitif for inauguration. Elegant and refined entertainment. Four-piece lineup with drums/piano/guitar/voice. Only COMPLIMENTS and APPLAUSE from the guests (about 250 outdoors) Highly recommended!"

"Absolutely super. It was our Christmas party, so there were about sixty people there, and it was really nice. It was nice, gentle music, the accordion had a lovely sound, the volume was good, we had a really super time. "
