"I hired Johnny as a surprise for my sister’s birthday party over the 4th of July weekend and everything went perfectly! He was on time, played upbeat, patriotic songs, and the happy birthday song, made a cool entrance, AND even came to us at Jordanelle Reservoir. Everyone was so entertained! He even stayed after and chatted with people and gave us neat info about the bagpipes and his traditional Scottish garb. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience - thank you Johnny!"

"Hype Magazine USA Cure For Jealousy A perfectly polished storyteller in the literal sense, Dar.Ra goes for this wild swing of ‘80s dance-rock infused with edge on the stomping sweetness of “Cure For Jealousy.” The track combines a range of periods and influences, ensuring the sound works seamlessly as a cohesive, concise whole. Volume is a given; he brings it, and it is a physical sound, like the way blood rushes through the ears with the first few traces of jealousy. Looking through his track record, he’s managed to touch upon every iteration of dance and rock within the last forty years, and has done it well. Outside of the music, he’s the author of two books, which also inform the character studies that he graces with his sound. It is catchy, addictive, and liberating stuff, the sort of thing that the music world needs now – something unique, experimental yet accessible, and overflowing with ideas. Sonically, Dar.Ra’s sound draws on the revivalist traditions of DFA Records, specifically on LCD Sound-System’s earnest pleas and search for meaning. Like James Murphy, Dar.Ra does have a love for the aesthetics of just a gigantic canvas, letting the whole arrangement feel enormous. On the classic side, the insistent bass has an ESG quality, with the groove absolutely dominating. It is easy to get intoxicated by the atmosphere, and the vocals further sell this idea of breaking free from this impairment. The tautness of the groove even delves into Parliament’s most unhinged experiments, as the track sparkles with endless creativity. For all these reference points, Dar.Ra continues his fine tradition of marching to the beat of a different drummer, going for this life-affirming, soulful stance. The stormy mix of keyboards and the tight rhythm section work their magic. Before his voice enters the equation, the mood is already set. When he takes center stage, the song transforms into an inner turmoil. He’s conflicted, and the verses cascade downwards reflecting exactly that. It stuns, and the track’s length makes the atmosphere almost psychedelic. Of course, this is what good dance music is meant to embody – endless expanses, endless possibilities. There is a reason so many dance-floors adhere to that sixto-seven-minute mark, even exceeding it when necessary. The band's interplay feels spirited, as if possessed, and this is what carries it all the way to the finale: a contemplative commotion. “Cure For Jealousy” shows that Dar.Ra is what music needs right now – a sound that draws and builds on the past while pointing a way forward, in a purely hedonistic, funk/dance/punk flavour."

"Roberto was an absolute highlight of our wedding day. From the aperitivo right through to our grand entrance and into the start of the party, he brought such an incredible energy that completely set the tone for the celebration. He struck the perfect balance between being professional and bringing so much fun, and you could really feel the atmosphere lift as soon as he started playing. We always knew we wanted a saxophone player for our big day, and Roberto exceeded every expectation. He read the crowd so well and timed everything perfectly, building the vibe naturally and keeping everyone engaged. Our guests absolutely loved him and he played such a big part in getting the party started in the best way possible. Every moment he was involved in felt special, and looking back, it would not have been the same without him. We loved every second and could not recommend him more highly."

"These amazing children gave us a wonderful wedding night, in August '23 in Chalkida. In not one, but two yards, as despite their tiredness and the somewhat adverse starting conditions, they accepted with great joy to follow us home, after our table in a tavern. One night, just the way we wanted it! Funky, melodious, magical, full of laughter, joy, beautiful people and great songs! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!! "

"Il loro stile si sviluppa attraverso i canoni musicali delle sonorità più varie e complesse da Bach, attraverso Mozart e scivolando in Gershwin affrontano con armonia e ritmica incalzante e melodica brani di jazz, blues, rock e pop, in particolare con classici dei Beatles e dei Queen, con puntate davvero interessanti nelle colonne sonore dei films più noti. Non mancano il tango e il funky. Davvero è una bella occasione ascoltarli."

"The Gajè Gipsy Swing is an incredibly talented group. Their style of performance was perfect for our wedding ceremony and apertivo. They customised a few specific songs we requested which was a lovely touch. Every guest was asking where and how we found the best wedding band! Thank you very much for making this celebration so memorable. 10 stars!"

"Fantastic band. White Light played at my 50 birthday party. They were outstanding. From the minute they arrived, they were professional, friendly and courteous. The music was brilliant and my guests and I danced all night. They catered the set list to what I wanted and nothing was too much trouble. This band is a must for a fabulous party!"

"I contacted Bruno to perform for my mum's birthday as a surprise. I chose the duo option of him playing the violin + a cello player, and I totally recommend it!! They played so beautifully, and Bruno was super nice preparing together with me the list of songs in the weeks prior to the event. Their music transported us to a different world!!
