"Recensie optreden Garden State band tijdens de opening van het Doelum Live seizoen 25/26 29 september 2025 . Garden State leverde in Doelum Live een overtuigend en hartverwarmend concert af. De combinatie van een hechte band, sterke zang en een enthousiast publiek maakte deze zondagmiddag tot een feest voor liefhebbers van de energieke, melodieuze Jersey Shore Sound. Met hun vakmanschap en hun vermogen om mensen letterlijk in beweging te brengen, bewees Garden State dat ze een podium van elk formaat kunnen laten bruisen. He was absolutely wonderful at working with us in the run up to the big day to ensure the playlist was just as we wanted it and on the day itself he was a complete pro. "Warmly Recommended This is the second time I am organizing a company party with life music from “Jazz Centrale”. The first it was a Jazz quartet with Bossa Nova singer Agnes and this time it was a Jazz Quartet with Jazz Singer SaraLee. Both were equally great. Warmly recommended not only for quality of the music but also for the smoothness of the organization. "

"The band members, very respectful and responsible, arrived on time and were very professional at all times. But honestly, we felt very disappointed that when contacting this band, we were specific about confirming if they played certain songs, certain artists, including rock and roll songs, which was the main concept of the party including decoration, etc. A party obviously centered on the birthday person for their 80th birthday, and the band played a selection of music that wasn’t what we requested. So, sorry for the honesty, but in that sense, we were very very disappointed. The idea was to hear the birthday person’s favorite songs, and that didn’t happen. That was the main reason we decided to invest in a band instead of going to a nightclub to listen to random music."

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and we appreciate your kind words about our professionalism and punctuality.  However, we'd like to respectfully address the concerns raised, as we believe there may have been a misunderstanding about what was agreed upon. Before the booking was confirmed, we provided our complete repertoire of 170 songs so you could review exactly what we perform. When you sent through your song requests, we responded clearly in writing that we could perform around 90% of the songs listed, specifically noting which artists and songs we don't cover, including Roy Orbison, Tony Bennett, and "Piña Colada." The contract was signed after this exchange, confirming mutual understanding of the agreed-upon repertoire. On the day, we delivered exactly what was agreed: approximately 90% of your requested songs, plus additional requests from guests. Guests were dancing and singing along to our performance. Furthermore, the birthday guest himself told us during the event that he was thoroughly enjoying the music, which we also took as a positive sign that we were meeting expectations. We always strive to be flexible and responsive on the day. When asked mid-performance to stop for unplanned moments like the raffle and cake cutting, we simply requested to finish the current song to avoid an abrupt interruption, a standard practice that maintains the flow and professionalism of live music. We regret that the experience didn't meet your expectations despite our clear pre-event communication. "Great from day one! Had both Dj and Saxofonist at our wedding in Spain and it was a great combo. They created an amazing atmosphere and all the guests were really impressed about the performance throughout the whole night. We added a package where all guests picks an instrument and walk from the dinner to the dance floor, that was also a great experience that added that extra special thing to the evening. The party was great as well with a good mix of sing alongs to house/techno as we wanted it! Thank you so much to Alex and Robbie for being a big part of making our wedding better than we could ever imagine ♥️"
