"Booking a band online can be nerve-wracking. But right from the first soundcheck, I knew we had made the right choice. The band members of Uptown really turn it into a party. Plus, they are very flexible, pleasant to work with, and easy to communicate with. What more could you ask for? So, get ready to dance and sing along with Uptown!"

"I wanted a swing/jazz band for my wedding, and oh boy, did they deliver! They were swinging, and lively; their repertoire was quite expansive. They reached out to ask if I had any specific songs and then added additional pieces that suited the style I wanted. We contracted them for both the ceremony and the reception, we had a 3 piece band for the ceremony (piano, bass, and sax) They showed up early and set up with no extra help needed, played some gentle jazz music until the ceremony began, and even added in a drummer for no extra charge. I flip-flopped on the song I wanted to walk down the aisle to until almost the very last moment, and they were incredibly understanding and flexible. For the ceremony, we requested a 7 piece band so it could be boisterous and fun. There was almost no time that the dance floor was empty from the moment they began playing, even though the music they played was a sort of old-school jazz that few people know how to properly dance to. They played so well and brought such an element of joy and fun, that all our guests felt comfortable enough to dance all night. We learned how to swing dance for our first dance (Louis Armstrong, 'Bout Time), and the band played it to perfection (even if we didn't dance it perfectly LOL). This moment is one I will treasure forever, it was exactly as I had wanted it to be. For the rest of the night, they played off a setlist of a few songs I gave them and filled in the rest with their own recommendations. The singer has the most beautiful voice, all the band members play perfectly, I felt like I was in a 1920s jazz bar which was exactly what I had wanted. We had guests approach us all throughout the night, and even now to ask who the band was and to congratulate us on such a fun event. If you want a band that can swing, rock, and any other musical verb you like, this is the band you want. They were so communicative, helpful, and perfectly able to understand my vision. From the first song to the last encore, the energy, the professionalism, and the sheer talent of this group were beyond anything we expected. We wanted something modern, fresh, and truly engaging — and that’s exactly what we got. The music was fantastic — vibrant, stylish, and completely in tune with the mood of the evening. Anastasia, the lead vocalist, didn’t just sing — she set the tone for the entire night. Her presence was magnetic, and her voice? Absolutely unforgettable. "We hired Soul Vibe Band to play our wedding, and they were fantastic! Kainy who was our contact was very helpful in the lead up to the wedding and was a pleasure to work with, and they even arranged something especially for our first dance, which we hugely appreciated. They keep the energy up and put on a great set, and for a six piece band were exceptionally reasonably priced. I would absolutely recommend them for anyone looking for their own wedding band!"

"We asked the Street foxes to perform during the aperitif . With their passion for music and their kindness, they managed to set the atmosphere on the perfect level. We were very enthusiastic, most of our guests comment us how much they enjoyed live music played by the Street Foxes. They are just such a good vibe! Very professional, customer oriented, very nice, Kind and friendly… if we would marry again, we would ask them to perform again without doubt!"

"MoonDance Band exceed all our expectations! They were incredible performers and we are so glad we booked them for our wedding. We have had countless people tell us how incredible they were and how it was one of the best bands they've ever seen perform at an event. The band was very responsive both before our wedding and throughout the day - something super important when juggling booking multiple vendors! MoonDance would be an excellent addition to any wedding/party/event!"

"Hired this excellent band for my wedding and they did not disappoint. They performed a great variety of songs that had people up on the dance floor all night. I would definitely hire these guys again if I were having a big enough party, or failing that see them perform in London would be great."

"We were in contact with Uptown from an early stage of organizing our wedding. From the very beginning, communication regarding everything was clear and prompt. It was also pleasant that they thought along with us regarding other matters, such as guest appearances and (extra) lighting/sound. The performance itself exceeded all expectations. It was a great party with a packed dance floor. The vocal qualities were top-notch!"
