This is the way to play soul and Motown-a full ten piece band, great brass section, girl backing singers, pulsating rhythm section and Big Mac himself on lead vocals-not only great musicianship but also a great performance. I am not surprised that it is one of the most popular outfits in South Wales, as it was absolutely superb. If you book corporate functions or summer balls and want a great dance band, you could do a lot worse. This is a truly hot band.' "

"We hired NoTown band to play at our wedding and they were absolutely fantastic. We wanted whatever band we hired to play our first dance song and it wasn’t on the NoTown set list, but we requested this while speaking with Diogo from the band and they learned the song especially for us, and did a great job of it. They kept the energy high and chose songs from their list to match the vibe of the party. Brilliant band and I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for a band for a fun celebration!"

"I am delighted to recommend the Blue Moon Jazz trio – I booked my wedding from the UK and I don’t speak Italian – but Raphael and the Blue Moon Jazz Band couldn't have been more helpful. We had to change arrangements due to the pandemic and again they were brilliant. On the day they sorted everything -playing our music for the ceremony exactly as asked, the band were brilliant – so many guests commented on the style and quality of their playing and the singer had a beautiful voice, they also then provided the disco for later – all the music was seemlessly handled and exactly as we wanted. My only regret was that I didnt spend enough time dancing to them as I was off doing photos etc! would highly recommend – so helpful, excellent music and good value. Karen and Pete"

"I had Paul and Crissie perform at my Jubilee Party garden/street party that me and my wife organised. They helped set up the equipment for the party in the farmers field for all of our neighbours and friends to attend. What a day! Even had people doing song requests and karaoke in the evening! Very accommodating people, and always willing to go the extra mile. "

"I don’t even know where to begin with how amazing the OPOV BAND was at our wedding reception on 4/6/19. From the first time I spoke with Sam I knew they were the right band for our wedding reception. They were so accommodating and learned our first dance songs for us so they could play them and man did they kill it. My husband and I chose “Crush” by Dave Matthews Band for our first dance song. That song is definitely not easy to learn and play but they brought me to tears when I heard it. I was floored with how good they sounded. They also learned and played a special request I had. My dad loves wagon wheel by Darius Rucker and they played it for him as a surprise and my dad was so excited. The whole band was interactive with the crowd and got the guests to get out of their chairs and get down on the dance floor. The talk of the wedding reception was how amazing they were. And not only were they all amazing performers they are just good genuine people who enjoy taking part in making a wedding reception special and fun. One of my aunts has a couple of friends getting married and has already given her friends their contact information because she was so impressed just like all of the guests were. It was truly a special unforgettable wedding reception all thanks to the OPOV BAND. Trust me you will not be disappointed if you hire them!"

"We just wanted to say a massive thank you to you and the band for helping make our day so special. We fully appreciate how you stepped in at the last minute and were so professional working around our timings. The acoustic set was an added bonus for us and set the tone perfectly. The evening set was then brilliant! It did exactly what we wanted by getting so many people on the dance floor, and keeping them there! "We particularly wanted a soul band and during our seemingly endless search of bands we were just drawn to The Soul Department! They played at our evening wedding reception earlier this month. Good reviews usually state pros and cons however, the band genuinely do not have any cons! They were professional from the onset, sounded incredible, looked incredible, great repertoire, were brilliant fun and had our wedding party rockin'!!! From start to finish they had our guests on their feet, we loved every minute! Exactly what we wanted! Cannot recommend these guys enough, worth their weight in gold, definitely will book them again, no question!! Thank you, you were amazing!! Melanie Cook xx"
