"A rare sitar player who is performing traditional khmer music. It's always great to see and meet a typical khmer orchestra at weeding. Some are using MP3 or Youtube. Performing there is this interactivity. "

Hiya, thank you. Yes in some wedding ceremonies, there is no musicians and instead tunes from the machines such as Youtube are played. The atmosphere is different we can notice. Having a live performance is always better.

"Yesterday's gig at Just Badela in Orlando West, Soweto, was a truly memorable experience. We enjoyed a soul-soothing live performance by the legendary Herbie Tsoaeli and his exceptional all-star band, featuring Ayanda Sikade on drums, Yonela Mnana on piano, Sbusiso Mkhize on trumpet, and Muhammad Dawjee on saxophone. Their synergy created an atmosphere that resonated deeply with everyone present. The event also highlighted Nico Phooko’s creative spirit. Inspired by the music and the warm ambiance, he crafted a beautiful live painting for his “Notes & Strokes” series. This gathering was more than just a concert; it was a shared experience many attendees will cherish for a long time. I also want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all who came out and supported the event, particularly those who purchased a copy of my coffee table book, “RHYTHMS IN BLACK & WHITE - A VISUAL JOURNEY THROUGH THE WORLD OF JAZZ,” published by Brandhill Africa. "EVERYBODY needs to have Collectives Gospel Choir for their wedding/events. When I first saw them at a wedding fair I couldn’t leave the room I was that drawn to them. We booked them for our wedding day for welcoming, ceremony and drinks. Throughout the day numerous guests came up to us to say ‘wow they are good where did you find them!!’ and messages after to ask for their details to pass onto family and friends. They truly sound and look perfect. We can’t thank you all enough for your professionalism, ability to adapt and being the most special part of our day. 💗"

"Felix responded quickly to our initial enquiry and any follow‑up messages. He took the time to understand the event and the audience - a small gathering of family and friends celebrating a special 80th Birthday. He has a great repertoire to choose from and after picking our favourites, he suggested some additional choices of his own to suit the event. On the day, he was brilliant. Set up was very simple and quick. Felix was very engaged with everyone - friendly, smiley, and incredibly personable. His transitions between genres were seamless, and he connected with guests across all ages - from 19 to 86! Everyone loved him and our Birthday Girl said in her Thank you card "A very big extra Thank you for Felix who made the day!" We would highly recommend Felix - wouldn't hesitate in booking him again and we hope to see him when he’s performing at one of the London hotels."

"Prestige Sound came to the rescue when my band were returning to a venue at which neither the PA nor in-house sound tech were up to scratch. It might sound like a little thing, but both our singers had damaged their vocal cords on the previous gig (which had meant cancelling a string of tour dates). I’m so glad we hired Prestige Sound. They were beyond helpful and worked tirelessly to ensure we were happy with not only our in-ear monitor mixes, but the quirks of a nightclub with a sound system that wasn’t designed for live bands. It meant that our crowd of enthusiastic clubbers had the night of their lives - and some top quality live music to boot. Thank you so much Prestige Sound!"

"Ian was absolutely amazing! He blew away all our guests with amazing tricks! He did the most amazing tricks with sentiments close to us as part of our day! He is so friendly and was able to get round all our guests. I would highly recommend him as he was one of the best magicians I’ve seen. Thanks so much Ian for adding magic to our special day!
