"Hi Bob We just wanted to say a big thank you for playing at our party on Saturday night. We had such a great day and the band just made it. We've had so many comments on how good the band were. We were so pleased with how the party went and to be able to use our garden to host. The atmosphere was great and the selection of music was just perfect. "Fantastic! Perfect addition to a milestone party! Jay Armsworthy & Eastern Tradition were the highlight of my husband’s 50th birthday celebration! Mr. Armsworthy is a complete gentleman and was recently awarded the 2019 Maryland Traditions Heritage Award. We were equally impressed to discover Mr. Armsworthy hosts a weekly radio show, Bluegrass By the Bay. The band is the real deal! Communication and logistics for our event were seamless, and their talent, musicianship, and harmonies - a gift. Our diverse crowd didn’t want the set to end. Thanks for a great evening!!"

"Big City Dixieland was a HUGE hit in our City Parade! Audiences from all ages were singing along, clapping and even dancing in the grass! Big City Dixieland sounded great! From what we (the organizers) could hear, they played a good variety of lively, well-known Dixieland Music, including a patriotic song. It was very easy to work with Maureen and Michael, their band arrived early, and everyone was very professional. We will definitely be hiring Big City Dixieland band for our next event in 2025! "

"Well last night we was at The Crofton Pub, great venue for some live music loads of space to set up your gear etc and lots of fine ales to sample and boy where they good. Anyway were not here to talk about ales but music! The band playing was called Father Jack, I believe to be in relation with Father Ted the program. The music was fantastic, it was Celtic and very lively, they had, guitar, drums and violin/Banjo/12 string ukelele. As we said the music was lively and very entertaining, in between them singing they would play some instrumental numbers. The instrumental numbers where great as they would get faster and faster and get the crowd going. The crowd where thoroughly enjoying themselves. When we got to our table one of the guys was handing out I guess karaoke handouts, these had the chorus to the some of the songs they where singing, I’ve never seen this before but it has to be a brilliant idea, as the evening went on and the beer was flowing, more and more people joined in with singing in the chorus of the songs. It would seem everyone had a great evening with Father Jack, I would definitely recommend them and if you see them advertised go a long and have a sing-a-long with them, you wont regret it!"

"Stephen was patient with me as I was planning a memorial service for my father. I changed my mind a couple of times and Stephen just rolled with the changes. He met my wife for a rehearsal session and then nailed the performance during the ceremony. Stephen also provided some lovely and background and mood music prior to the service and jumped-in with musical accompaniment during the congregational hymns."

"Your music really set the tone for the day as music was a really important part of it for both of us and it set the perfect vibe as our guests arrived into the venue and started the party! The mix of traditional, folk and current tunes catered for the whole guest list and gave our visiting guests a little taste of Ireland at the same time. We would recommend you wholeheartedly on any bride or groom who wants to entertain their friends and family. Rachel and Stephen Gallagher (Jan 2026)"
