" Review received on 5/13/2021 Fantastic entertainment Number 9 Coal performed for my dad’s 60th birthday party. They were professional and timely. The music sounded great! So many guests complimented us on the band. A great time was had by all! They also personalized the experience by singing happy birthday and taking song requests from the birthday boy. "Stephen Kleiman was a great addition to our MusicMan Camp Pro Sessions this year! He coordinated with me promptly about how to integrate his session into our camp curriculum -- and was very flexible about performing in a gym rather than our usual auditorium! The campers loved learning about the banjo and mandolin and found it interesting and applicable to their harmonic camp sessions on ukulele and guitar. Excellent performance and patience in working with young musicians! Thank you Stephen! "

"Stephen was patient with me as I was planning a memorial service for my father. I changed my mind a couple of times and Stephen just rolled with the changes. He met my wife for a rehearsal session and then nailed the performance during the ceremony. Stephen also provided some lovely and background and mood music prior to the service and jumped-in with musical accompaniment during the congregational hymns."

"So talented! So fun! Great addition to our party! Number 9 Coal played for 3 hours at my brother's rehearsal dinner and welcome party in November '21. They were fantastic! They were on time, communicated great, were professional and the music was excellent. They even took the time to learn a new song to surprise my brother and his fiance. "Highlight of our Event Coal #9 was the highlight of our backyard party. From the initial booking onward working with the band was effortless. Communication was excellent throughout. The band had to adjust their setup for our backyard but adjusted on the fly and without any loss in performance or complaint. Our guests raved at the quality of their performance. Band members were friendly and warm and their presence added to the evenings ambiance. We are so thankful that we go Coal #9 to perform at our event and highly recommend you consider them for your event. "Your band did a fantastic job at Melanie's graduation party. Your group was so entertaining, our guests have not stopped talking about the music> We had 115 people and you managed to keep all the different age groups dancing and singing and listening to the classic rock music you were playing. I heard many comments about how great the bass player was, how the drummer played non-stop for hours and never stopped smiling; how the lead singer got everyone involved and even let all the guests up on stage to sing in a sort of live karaoke format. You surpassed my wildest expectations, and I would recommend your band to anyone who wants a great evening of affordable yet great entertainment at their event."

"Alberto was quick to respond to our last minute request for live music and made a 3 hour drive to our location. His own versions of classic songs were incredible, it had everyone listening in awe. He added in Italian songs which we though were probably the best and really made our day extra special. He ended up staying longer to set up inside while we had dinner. We highly recommend him for any event you're looking for music!"
