Photo of Liz Player Jazz Singer Liz Player Jazz Singer "Could not be happier with Liz and the duo that sang and played at my wife's 50th Birthday arranged at last minute - highly recommend them." Based in Sydney, New South Wales (128 miles from Orange) Chad - 50th Birthday Photo of The Jazz Kings Australia The Jazz Kings Australia "Friday 24th November 2023 - The Jazz Kings - Tweed Valley Jazz and Blues A superb gig to bring a fitting close to a year of top-flight music. ‘The Jazz Kings’ left us in no doubt why they are currently rated among the top outfits on the North Coast. Each of them – Nicole Parker-Brown on vocals, Peter Uppman on vocals and trumpet (sometimes almost at the same time), Gordon Matheson on guitar, Col Atkinson on bass and yet more vocals, and Jose McLaughlin on keyboards – is an accomplished performer in their own right, and in combination they are a musical powerhouse to be reckoned with. It was an evening of eclectic mix, from popular jazz standards, through blues arrangements that will be appearing on their latest album, to occasional dips into the classical realms, and a few nostalgic ‘pop’ reminiscences. Among the favourites were their own arrangements of evergreens such as ‘Night and Day,’ ‘All Of Me’, ‘Misty’, ‘Georgia On My Mind’ and ‘Making Whoopee’. Jose even gave a nod towards his earlier career as keyboard player and musical director of ‘Gerry and the Pacemakers’ with his updated arrangements of ‘Ferry Cross the Mersey’ and ‘Don’t Let the Sun Catch You Crying’. All in all, a great end to 2023, and the Club Committee took time at the end to wish all members and visitors a happy and safe Xmas and a prosperous New Year. If it promises music of the same quality as this past year, then we’ll have no complaints." The performance was absolutely brilliant, exactly what we have been looking for, we really love it. Everything is just perfect!" I had the opportunity to have Igor and Sergei play the double bass and piano for my proposal, and it couldn’t have been more beautiful. We spoke over Zoom and on the phone to go over the details, and they truly understood my vision. They even checked out some of the songs I wanted to include. They arrived on time and delivered an unforgettable performance. I will definitely hire them again for future events and highly recommend them" Based in Los Angeles, California, United States (7,589 miles from Orange) Hector Photo of Good Co Good Co "We hired Good Co for our 1920's themed holiday party. They were extremely flexible and accommodating, especially when we asked if they would follow our leadership around the office as they gathered people for the party. Awesome talent, great at judging sound vs space. Our office is pretty echo-y and loud, but they found the right balance immediately. Definitely keeping on the books for next time!" Based in Seattle, Washington, United States (7,810 miles from Orange) Ashley V - Corporate Party Photo of Texas Gypsies Texas Gypsies "In a word... FABULOUS! These guys gave us just the sound we needed for our fun Prohibition-theme wedding. It is now two weeks later, and all we keep hearing is "Man, that band was fantastic!" They are worth the asking price (which is very reasonable to begin with!) Steve Curry is a great guy and very easy to deal with. I would recommend them without any reservations."
