Andy and his wife were perfect for our surprise 50th birthday party! Our theme was "Blue Ridge Country" so there music was the perfect accompanienment for the evening. Andy and his wife Sara are easy going and accommodating. We loved their personalities and their music, and our whole party did as well. If I have another backyard party I would have them again! Andy Burr's band did a great job at our 70th Birthday-- contacted us immediately to discuss the event, the venue, etc. They require only a plug in to perform! We loved that we could preview his songs on his website. He accommodated our special song. It was difficult because people were hadn't seen each other for over 20 years.... everyone was chatty, which is somewhat disrespectful; but no problem. Two outgoing youngsters that wanted to perform and Andy very graciously accommodated --to the delight of the adults. "Ray and Kay were great. They arrived early and took the time and care to set up to where they weren't too loud or intrusive. I know it can be a delicate and tricky balance for the musicians to estimate whether or not they're overpowering an audience that wants to socialize yet stay present enough to not fade into the background. They clearly have the experience to understand dynamics and are really good at reading a room. It's nice to be accommodating, but also refreshing to see a musical act sense when a night is wrapping up. We event directors want to go home at some point, too! Ray and Kay were tight, professional and friendly.
