Most bands play two sets of 45 to 60 minutes and arrive with their own backline, PA and stage lighting. Raise song requests early, since learning a first dance or a particular album track takes rehearsal time, and check stage depth before booking a five-piece: a full drum kit, two guitar rigs and a keyboard need more room than a stripped-back trio.
Of the 318 suppliers listed here, one is based within 30 miles of Kingston. The other 317 are willing to travel there.

Classic rock bands in Kingston, Ontario, Canada cover the era from the 1960s through the 1990s, with repertoires built on acts like The Who, Deep Purple, Fleetwood Mac and Jimi Hendrix. The sound is fully amplified, so the room matters more than it does for an acoustic booking: a low ceiling or a strict noise limit changes what a band can deliver, and the better acts ask about both before they quote.
A four-piece of guitar, bass, drums and vocals is the usual format, with five- and six-piece line-ups adding keyboards or a second guitar for a fuller sound. Check the space before confirming: a full drum kit and two guitar rigs want roughly three metres (ten feet) of depth, and most bands need two or three standard power sockets near the stage rather than a single extension lead.
Most bands arrive two to three hours before the first song for load-in and soundcheck, which is worth building into the venue schedule if the room is in use beforehand. Two sets of 45 to 60 minutes is the standard booking, split by a break with recorded music. Where the venue has a curfew, work backwards from it when setting the start time instead of leaving the gap at the end of the night.
Rates in Kingston run from $280 to $4,400+, with most bookings landing near $1,450. Band size is the largest single factor, followed by travel, set length and whether the act needs to bring extra sound or lighting for a larger room. Learning a specific song for a first dance or a surprise moment usually carries a small additional fee.
The average price for Classic Rock Bands available in Kingston, Ontario, Canada is $1,450 (CAD). Above you will also find a budget price and high end price. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.

Ed's Garage

The Stir
"The Stir really rocked our party. Get had people dancing to rocking blues music all night"
Dom Mar KZ
"An unbelievable night of spectacular live music in benefit of Montage Support Services was
presented to all in attendance on this brisk fall night at the Vaughan City Playhouse Theatre
courtesy of multi-talented Instrumentalist Dom Mar KZ, who was backed up by the mind-blowing
Shining Star Band.
Having been a fan of Dom’s work for the past 32 years, saying that I was looking forward to
seeing this show was an understatement. I certainly wasn’t disappointed. Having seen Dom evolve
from being the hard rocking Bassist of Graffiti Knox who made his professional debut in 1991 at
Toronto’s legendary (yet sadly defunct) Rock ‘N’ Roll Heaven (along with his now Brother-In-Law
and one of the Shining Star Band’s Guitarists - Lu Cachie) to becoming one of the most
extraordinary and respected Musicians in Canada today was guided by a pre-determined fate.
And his fan base across the Globe continues to increase via exposure through International Radio
and Online Publications.
Besides his Brother-In-Law, Dom was also joined on stage by his son Joe Marchese (Keyboards),
Nephews (who also happen to be Lu’s Sons!) Andrew DeVita (Drums) / Carmen Cachie (Guitar),
Eugene V (Bass), Daniel Monte (Violin), Piero Nunziata (Guitar), and Enrico Galante (Saxophone).
This assembly of exquisite talent was enhanced even further with the Meta Centre Performers,
followed by Prado and Juno Award Winner Liberty Silver, who mesmerized the audience and
shook this Writer to his core with their stunning presence and vocal prowess.
Some of the many stellar (pun intended) tracks churned out included “Destiny”
,
“In Through The
Fire”
,
“Need A Favour”
,
“My Lady”, and “War”
. Combined with a mesmerizing visual
background comprised of photographs and memories from significant periods in Dom’s life, the
mentioned songs combined with others included in the Shining Star Band’s set were taken to a
deeper level as the Audience came to know and forge an even stronger bond with the Artist via the
undeniable magic of music.
I genuinely hope that this will be the first of many more performances to come from Dom Mar KZ
and The Shining Star Band as their chemistry and passion tore the Vaughan City Playhouse
Theatre’s roof off. Mega thanks to Laura Tonelli of Let Signature Events for her hospitality and
months of hard work in making this successful concert in aid of an excellent charitable cause a
reality!"
Drink-182 (Blink 182 Tribute)
"Highly impressed with the showmanship and authenticity. We've booked many tribute bands but Drink 182 stands out. Their draw was exceptional and they made our job easy from the get go"
The Liquid Courage
"If you're looking for a band that knows how to get the party started and keep it going all night long, then look no further than Liquid Courage Band. This talented group of musicians brings a level of energy and excitement to every performance that is truly unparalleled.
From the moment they hit the stage, Liquid Courage Band has a way of getting the crowd on their feet and dancing along to every beat. Their impressive range of musical styles ensures that there is something for everyone in the audience, from classic rock and pop hits to the latest chart-topping hits.
But what really sets Liquid Courage Band apart from other bands is their incredible chemistry and stage presence. These musicians truly love what they do, and it shows in every note they play and every move they make. They know how to read the crowd and tailor their performance to keep everyone engaged and entertained."
Corey Rieman and The Dilemma Band
"How do I get across how good this band is. Everyone is so talented. And the lead singer has a talent and a charisma that is unique, real and wholly impressive. His voice is so genuine and so pleasantly different. Lead guitar dude rips. Just absolutely rips. Rhythm section crushed it at full groove level. Drummer is crisp and on it , bass is always on point. The woman on tambourine added such a nice flavor. Hired for an outside town event. Everyone loved the band. Everybody. It’s a no brainer"
