This is just a brief note to thank you and ‘The Bees Knees’ for the band’s performance at our staff Christmas party at the Thistle Marble Arch on 19th December 2002. They are an excellent tribute band and I really appreciated them appearing in the 1970’s gear as well! The fabulous Bees Knees singing “O-o-o-oh stayin’ alive” paid an exciting tribute to Bee Gees in their first performance in Asia. The Bees Knees performed live in three concerts ‘Night Fever’ organised by Pearl Continental hotels in Karachi, Lahore and Ralwalpini. The Bees Knees is a popular tribute band of the UK and has been holding concerts in Europe and America for the last two years. Each song was followed by by a loud clapping of appreciation. the sweet melodies and upbeat numbers they presented showed the Bee Gees evolution from lite ensemble to soft rock disco geniuses. Their singing had many in the audience tapping their feet and singing with them. The show was a glorious tribute to the Bee Gees. The Bees Knees expressed their desire to visit Pakistan again.

It appeared as if the Bee Gees had started performing again when a tribute band from London known as ‘The Bees Knees’ performed before Lahore on Tuesday at Pearl Continental Hotel. Bees Knees had been especially invited to Pakistan by the hotel management. The band had performed in Karachi on September 21st and will perform in Islamabad on Sept 24th. Talking to the Daily Times they said, “We’ve’ loved music and especially the Bee Gees, so we started singing their songs. They added, one more reason for performing the Bees Gees is keeping their music alive. They started off the evening with the famous Bee Gees opener ‘You Should Be Dancing’ followed by ‘Tragedy’. The tribute tonight ended with famous Bee Gees numbers ‘ Staying Alive’ and ‘ Night Fever’.

What a spectacular night! Last night’s Press Ball, at the County Hotel, Copdock, sponsored by AV Unit and British Gas is fast becoming one of the most glittering events in Suffolk’s social calendar. 250 guests help raise £25,911 in just one night to help improve the lives of dozens of Suffolk children with disabilities. Much of the money came from an auction of items. After the bidding was over guests partied the night away to Bee Gees tribute band, Bees Knees and Abba tribute Abba Illusion.

This is to confirm that the event went very well. The UK Bee Gees turned up on time and set up. They were totally self-contained and extremely well organised. I am new to this and when I asked the theatre manager are all acts as good as this she said definitely not. She stated this was the most professional and best organised group she had ever worked with.
The concert went very well and the audience had a whale of a time. Dancing in the aisles.
We would highly recommend the UK Bee Gees and will be booking them again.

It says the show was exceptional and what impressed the writer most was that the UK Bee Gees tribute band had such great voices and that it was difficult to believe that they are not the real group and I totally agree. Believe it or not they even mentioned me and how I had one the competition as the biggest Bee Gee Fan in Malta and got to spend the weekend with you in Gozo.

The music and their appearance was very accurate to the real thing.They arrived very early to set up and check everything was to perfection which immediately showed their professionalism. "I’d like to live a 5 star review for the New Mojo band fronted by Paul and Jo. They played at my wedding at Hever Castle this last summer and did an excellent job. They traveled all the way from Norfolk to Kent. They didn’t only play but they supported us in other ways through the wedding. They all looked amazing and they played beautifully even if we run out of time due to the wedding running late. I’d like to say a very huge thank you to them from the bottom of my heart."

She arranged a Duo with a guitarist for the champagne toast and then her band played after our wedding breakfast.
All of our guests have said what an excellent band they are. They had everybody up dancing young and old.
I think my nana thinks Ginger is her friend as she keeps asking me how she is!!
