Guitar players mostly quote per set rather than per hour, with rates in Henley on Thames starting from about £100 for a single instrumental set, typical bookings around £250 and singer-guitarists bringing their own PA reaching £800+. Longer performances, weekend and peak-season dates, and sets that include vocals all push quotes up. When comparing quotes, check what each includes: amplification, travel and time to learn requested songs are sometimes itemised separately. Booking ceremony and reception music with the same performer often costs less than hiring two separate acts. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.

James - Singer and Guitarist
"James is extremely talented, has a huge repertoire to suit all ages and we enjoyed his singing and musicality immensely. Thank you again, as James not only sang at our wedding but lately at my husband's 70th party. I would thoroughly recommend. We hope to find another excuse to book James soon!"
Jack Barnes
"Jack was amazing. From early communication planning the play list through to performing on the day, Jack delivered! Jack is personable, polite and does not intrude. Thank you Jack for making the birthday celebrations special."
Damian Delahunty
"Hired Damian for a private party for my sons 18th. Leading up to the date, Damian offered advice on venues, agreed the price, ran through song selection with me.
On the night Damian was excellent. Arrived early, well organised with lighting and sound setup. He did two sets with a short break in between. Damian interacted with everyone there, taking requests etc. He even let a few budding musicians and singers do a couple of songs!
I'd highly recommend Damian to anyone. He's a great singer and guitarist, with such a wealth of experience that you know you are in good hands.
Rob Jones."
