World Music in United KingdomHawaiian entertainers in the United Kingdom bring the authentic sounds and cultural traditions of the Pacific Islands to events, featuring the gentle melodies of ukulele, the distinctive tones of steel guitar and the graceful movements of traditional hula dance. These performers specialise in creating tropical atmospheres that suit luaus, summer parties and beach or poolside weddings.
These Hawaiian acts typically come in three formats: a solo or duo ukulele act for background music and acoustic sets, a small band with steel guitar and bass for fuller sound, or a band paired with one or more hula dancers for a complete show. Some acts also offer a brief lei greeting on arrival or short audience hula lessons. Set lengths usually run 45 minutes for background music through to multi-set evening performances, with most acts bringing their own PA for outdoor and smaller indoor venues.
Rates for Hawaiian entertainment in the United Kingdom currently range from about £90 to £950, with an average booking cost of £260. Solo ukulele performers and acoustic island musicians sit at the most accessible pricing tier, while full Hawaiian bands featuring multiple instruments, traditional costumes and hula dancers command higher rates. An act based closer to your venue may quote less for travel, while performers from the islands themselves may charge more for their cultural expertise and training.
The average price is £260 (GBP), with most priced from £90 to £950. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.

"We are extremely thrilled with our outcomes using Island Jams. They were responsive, flexible and Aaron was as advertised. His talents were top notch and he was willing to work with us on our schedule and so easy to work with. He came on time, prepared and was ready go a little early and stayed a little later than scheduled. We would definitely use Island Jams in the future and recommend to anyone and everyone looking for an option for Hawaiian music!"

"Gary was 100% first class in every way. I booked him as a suprise for my daughter at her wedding reception in UK after we went to Jamaica 2weeks ago for her wedding. Gary helped keep it a secret by waiting outside before setting up untill my daughter wasn't about. Everyone at the wedding loved him especially my daughter and son in law and many guests wanted him to play for longer. I would recommend him 101% to anyone who is looking for a Steel Drum. Don't be put off by him being a lot more affordable than others advertised. He is absolutely BRILLIANT. Thank fella."

"Mark is talented and professional, and his music made my husband's 50th birthday surprise party extra special. Mark arrived on time, didn't require too much space, had a playlist prepared, and played all the way through. I was unsure where he should set up since the event was held at our home, but he politely made suggestions and gave feedback as to what would work best (and he was right). Prior to the event, Ricky reached out to see if I had any instructions or questions and promptly replied to any comments that I had - I appreciated that! Thank you Mark and Island Jams Productions! I highly recommend you to everyone looking for ukulele players and Hawaiian entertainment."
