Photo of NoNi Trio NoNi Trio "NoNi Trio gave a wonderful, graceful, and elegant performance at our wedding. Their music created exactly the warm, sophisticated atmosphere we had hoped for, and their set was one of the most memorable parts of our celebration. They were exceptionally professional, friendly, kind, and accommodating throughout the planning process. In advance of the wedding, they coordinated directly with our DJ and sound engineer to ensure that all sound-equipment requirements were sorted smoothly. They also discussed the setlist with us clearly and thoughtfully, including many of our favourite classics by Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Sarah Vaughan, Peggy Lee, Louis Armstrong, and more. They went above and beyond by working with a friend of ours—a backing vocalist and songwriter—who had composed a song especially for us. NoNi Trio helped incorporate her performance into their set, making the moment feel especially personal and meaningful. It was an absolute pleasure working with NoNi Trio from start to finish. We would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for beautiful, high-quality live jazz for a wedding or special event." She performed 2 sets - one in hot sunshine and another in a wine cellar - both were excellent in terms of choice of songs (according to my general wishes), quality of her singing (wonderful voice), quality of her PA equipment and her composure given hot outside conditions and a lively diverse party of people. I would thoroughly recommend booking Viktoria for your event. Bravo!" We are delighted to have had them for our wedding." In a cellar bar in Paris 6th called the Tennessee, on a tiny stage but surrounded by a massive public already conquered by the group and the atmosphere they create - It feels like we are at a friends reunion. The first set is consecrated to the recreation of the mythical duo: («Can’t We Be Friends?», «Isn’t a Lovely Day?», «They Can’t Take That Away From Me») But through the filter of Paddy et Ellen. We are in homage and never in imitation (except for the odd humoristic wink to the original). They especially bring to life a music the gives great joy and pleasure The trio is perfect in total complicity Paddy as always full of colour and vigour. Ellen – better known for her soul repertoire – reveals herself to be an excellent jazz singer absolutely in Ella’s register. César, very serious behind them plays beautiful harmonies. A wonderfully entertaining evening." From the very beginning, communication was easy, friendly, and flexible. As we don’t speak French, it was especially important to us that communication could also be handled in English, and everything went smoothly throughout the planning process. The performance itself was absolutely wonderful. They are both incredibly talented musicians, and the singer has a truly beautiful voice. The pianist was also excellent, and together they created a fantastic atmosphere for our special day. They listened carefully to our wishes and took all of our requests into consideration, which made the experience feel very personal and special. We received so many compliments from our guests about the music! We highly recommend them to anyone looking for talented, professional, and easy-to-work-with musicians for their wedding. Thank you for making our day even more memorable!" Based in Paris, Île-de-France Region 8th September 2026 Ilari - Private Wedding

Frequently asked questions

Hiring jazz singers typically costs between €140 and €1,250+, with an average of €450. Rates depend on the singer's experience, performance duration and whether the vocalist performs with a live band, backing tracks or as part of a duo. Jazz singers are a popular choice for drinks receptions, corporate dinners and evening entertainment.

The jazz singers perform a range of vocal jazz styles including classic standards, swing, bossa nova, soul-jazz, jazz-pop crossover and Rat Pack-inspired sets. Many jazz singers have a wide repertoire that spans several decades of popular and jazz music.

Hiring jazz singers is ideal for wedding receptions, cocktail hours, corporate events, gala dinners, private parties and restaurant entertainment. A jazz vocalist brings warmth, personality and sophistication to any occasion.

Many jazz singers perform with a live accompanist (usually piano or guitar), a small jazz combo or a full band. Some also offer performances with professional backing tracks. A live band provides the most authentic jazz experience. It is worth checking each singer's available formats.

Most jazz singers are happy to learn specific songs for special moments such as a first dance. Jazz singers are often skilled at arranging well-known songs in a jazz style. It is advisable to make song requests in advance to allow time for preparation.

Ceremony singing is less common than reception work, since the repertoire is different, but many singers will cover both where the timings allow. Drinks receptions, the meal and the evening are the usual slots, and they are often quoted as one booking rather than separately. Agreeing which parts of the day are covered at the enquiry stage avoids paying for gaps in between.

Small private events are common bookings, and a singer with one musician suits a room where a full group would overwhelm the space. Many performers scale the same set down for a private dining room and up for a larger function. Venue limits on volume or space are worth mentioning early, as they usually decide the format rather than the repertoire.

Dinner sets are a standard part of the work, pitched at a level that lets conversation carry rather than as a featured performance. The same singer will often lift the set afterwards, when the room is ready to listen or dance. Saying which parts of the evening are background and which are the focus shapes how the sets are built.
