Distance is the biggest variable, since a singer travelling two hours for a twenty-minute ceremony prices differently from one performing ten minutes from home. Saturdays through summer and December fill first and carry the least room to negotiate. Booking inside two weeks often costs more rather than less, since the singer has to work rehearsal and travel around a diary already committed elsewhere.
